Nestled on the edge of a protected nature preserve connected to Manuel Antonio National Park, Abajo immerses you in daily encounters with monkeys, toucans, parrots, and more—often from closer than you’d see on a guided tour.

The Space

☼ Main House ☼


The open-concept main home features floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto the veranda and pool, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. Two large bedrooms each include ensuite bathrooms, offering privacy and comfort. A full laundry room with washer and dryer is also included for convenience. The living area has fold-out couches that can convert into twin beds when needed.

☼ Casita☼
The third bedroom and bathroom are in the Casita, a stone's throw from the main house. The Casita is a fully contained studio with a well-equipped small kitchen, living area, and bathroom. It has floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto a small balcony in the thick of the jungle.

Relax by the zero-entry pool, dine under the covered veranda, or grill on the BBQ while wildlife provides a constant backdrop. With the rainforest bordering two sides of the property, Abajo offers immersive nature experiences at every turn.
