This was a very nice cabin, a plus is the two bathrooms with each bedroom Nice view of the lake from the living room and off the deckVery peaceful lake, especially in the morning, and no motors, very quietDefinitely an A for fishing , for a small lake , we were catching all types of fish from large mouth bass to the little sunny ! Very pleasing trip, you really can’t beat the Adirondacks!

Property was amazing! We didn’t expect much, but it was way above expectations. Roomy, clean, and the lakefront is excellent. The lake (and the entire neighborhood) is super quiet and peaceful. The weather was 92-96 degrees all week, but the AC cooled the house to a chilly temp quickly. The fire pit was great, as were the boats/kayaks. The property is a little tricky to find at first, but super easy once you realize the parking is right in front of you when you pull into the area. We will absolutely stay here again!

Cozy lake house

The cozy lake house was just the get away we needed. There was so many activities including swimming, fishing kayaking, paddle board/boat. Close to lake gorge, great little deli near by!

Sunnyside Lake Family Trip

Great location, convenient to Lake George and Saratoga Race Course. Enjoyed swimming and fishing in a peaceful, non-motorized lake. Highly recommend

The whole process was seamless from check-in to check-out. The owner was very responsive to all messages. The home was very nice and relaxing with plenty of room to relax with family. Outside deck had a great grill and fantastic views of the tranquil lake. Overall a exceptional stay and my wife and I are planning to visit again in the future.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The access to the lake is amazing. The kitchen is very well equipped. We cooked breakfast and dinner everyday. We had a great leaf peeping visit. Just as an fyi. The Feeder canal trail was beautiful and very foot and bike friendly.

The cabin is surprisingly roomy for its size and located in a great spot for sightseeing in Vermont and New York. It is described as "rustic" and that is true but it comes with all the amenities you would need for a self catered holiday. Nearby there is an outlet mall, a supermarket, restaurants and even an amusement park but the neighborhood for the cabin is nice and quiet. The entrance is down some steps or a grassy slope so be careful if you have mobility issues but all in all a nice place.

Property was mostly as advertised. This is a roof over the back deck which was really nice along with a table and many chairs. There was only 1 kayak which wasn’t ideal since there were 2 of us and we wanted to kayak together. I should have verified prior to booking but there were 2 in one of the photos so I didn’t check. The dock has seen better days and there was no ladder into the water as shown in pictures. Location was great to access Lake George and Glens Falls. If you do stay here make sure you go to Beans Country Store up the road for pie and pizza

Perfect getaway spot

I was this had nit had a review in a few years so i was kinda nervous but decided to give it a shot nonetheless. Im so glad we did. It was perfect. It was clean and updated (maybe since previous reviews?) And just the right size for the the 4 of us, which included a 16yr old and 14yr pld boy. The boys loved the fishing and caught quite a few good sized fish and used just about every vessal at their disposal. It was so beautiful, peaceful and just what we needed for a regharge! Highly recomend this little cottage and look forward to visiting again in the future!

This place is almost perfect!

This was my second stay at the cottage and I look forward to more visits in the future. The setting is so lovely and private while still being close to so many lovely towns and activities. That said, the house itself could use a little updating and love. The mattresses are very soft so I had some trouble sleeping. And new sheets and linens would be great. Also, there is no screen door to the primary entrance to the lake, which would be an excellent addition to this otherwise wonderful place.

A great cabin on a beautiful lake

We had a great week to slow down and enjoy this beautiful lake location. We brought our paddle boards and spent most of our days on the lake but the house also had other boating options available. The host was very quick to respond from my first question when I was considering renting to check out. The WiFi worked great for the couple of work calls that needed to take place while we were there. We enjoyed the open floor plan of the house looking out to the lake. The kitchen and bathrooms looked like a recent remodel and well done. We loved stepping away but the location is great with so many options only 10 minutes away. One of our favorite ways to wrap up the day was sitting around the fire pit and taking in the view!

Location is great! Remainder needs work

Our 4th stay here and although the location is great, the property has degraded. The home was not clean upon arrival, flannel sheets on bed in July, propane needed to be changed and back door slider cannot be opened without weight training. For the money paid, we expect better. Very sad that the property has fallen so badly

The house and lake were great! Our family had a great time fishing, boating and swimming. Very close to Lake George , shops and activities.

Perfect Set-up!

The house is perfectly situated, with a wide open living space, direct access to the water and plenty of places to lounge and read a book! Everything was spotless upon our arrival and had a great week!

Family get together

The location was perfect, near Lake George but away from the crowds. The hose in on Lake Sunnyside and had everything you need on a lake, a dock, canoe, rowboat,kayak and paddle board. Small bedrooms but a great common area, fully supplied kitchen and a nice deck to enjoy morning coffee and evening drinks overlooking the lake.

Great little home

Lovely home right on the lake with private dock was a wonderful place to stay. It's not high-end but had everything we needed. Having 2 bathrooms and washer/dryer was a huge plus.

Beautiful little college right on the lake.

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Sunnyside. The cottage was updated with all newish appliances, bathrooms. Gorgeous view of the lake inside and out. Comes supplied with boats for all the lake activities. They even supply a few fishing poles. Nice grill on the deck and a beautiful fire pit. The bedrooms are a little small. The main living area is open concept. The cottage/lake is close to Bike paths, the outlet stores and grocery stores. The lake is not gigantic, but it’s a nice size to kayak around and go for a quick swim. The floor in the main living area is slightly unlevel. But not really a big deal. All in all a wonderful place, and would stay there again.

Great Getaway

Had a great time. The lake and accommodations we’re exactly what we were looking for. Boys 9 & 11 played and fished in the lake all day. We used the kayak and rowboat everyday. Caught a lot of fish and had a great time at lake Sunnyside. Nice kitchen and grill for preparing meals. Close proximity to Lake George. For anyone who is looking for a quiet escape with plenty of lake access I would highly recommend.
