Open area apartment, a little vintage and very welcoming. Up to 4 guests. In the heart of Limoilou close to restaurants, bars ans shops. Discover an exciting district of Quebec City close to downtown and Old Quebec.

New construction from 2019 and very well situated. You'll be among the people from Quebec City with lot of activities nearby.

The owner are leaving one floor up, don't hesitate asking us about the city.

You are close to the main public transportation and can park for free in the street.

Good location. Park nearby to walk dogs to. Basement unit could have thicker curtains for privacy from street/sidewalk. Stove would not heat up, so could not use, not even to reheat food. Entrance needs cleaning and TLC. Appreciated having shampoo, body wash, soap, etc. Plenty of towels.

Great value & location

Had a fun 3 night trip to Quebec City, and enjoyed staying in this ground level apartment. Apartment is clean, with an adequate kitchen, and the one bathroom is just fine to work for two adults and two teenagers. It was also one of the few places that would allow our dog to travel with us. The location is great, a couple of blocks from some good cafes & restaurants, and a short drive to the old city. Parking on the street is free, but you do need to move your car at the right time to the appropriate zone. Hosts were very responsive to one small issue we raised, and it was taken care of within a couple of hours.

Nice place for QuƩbec discovery

Very good stay in la "taniĆØre de Limoilou" Functional apartment where it is good to live a few days.Its proximity to the points to visit in Quebec City and the surrounding cities is a real asset for those who like to move.The rooms are pleasant and the bedding comfortable for a few days.However, be careful about parking: read the signs carefully, but there's usually a space on the street or in a parallel street.Property manager is very reactive to answer our questions.

Beautiful location

I recently stay for a long weekend with my family and had a great time. The apartment was just what we needed and we were grateful to be able to bring our dog. The hosts were extremely quick to reply to any queries, and the check-in process was very easy. We were especially happy to find that the apartment was very warm when we arrived on an especially cold night after a long drive up from New York City. The restaurants in the neighborhood were wonderful, there was a grocery store and pharmacy near by, and there was ample free street parking. Would definitely recommend this place to any family!

Great stop over

A great stop-over on our travels from NB to ON. A short drive to a bowling alley and found a cute cafe a short walk away. Watched a movie, and enjoyed access to laundry.

Some Positives, Some Negatives

Proximity to downtown was great, as was access to washer and dryer. The downsides were: slow drainage of bathtub, bathroom sink drain got stuck, no trash bags, paper towels, or tissues. Also, window coverings in front of apartment afforded no privacy. Also, burners on stovetop continued to turn red for a time after being turned off. These things are all easily corrected/ improved.

Les deux lits sont des deux places , donc matelas 54ā€™ā€™, ils sont courts et pas trĆØs confos. Que dire du divan qui est fini et le tĆ©lĆ©viseur nā€™a pas le cĆ¢ble. Nous avons sejournĆ© deux jours , mais avions dĆ©barbouillettes pour une journĆ©e . Manque aussi linge Ć  vaisselle , on devait nous livrer ce manque mais nous ne lā€™avons jamais reƧu . Le bain est dĆ» pour un nettoyage de tuyau. Dans lā€™entrĆ©e ce nā€™est pas invitant , les feuilles des arbres de lā€™automne passe sont encore lĆ  . De plus, bien lire les affiches de stationnement, nous avons eu un ticket $ car pensions que le stationnement Ć©tait gratuit . Mais malgrĆ© les notes nĆ©gatives citĆ©es plus haut , la location est bien situĆ©e, propre, bien Ć©clairĆ©e malgre le demi sous-sol et cā€™est trĆØs calme.

Le logement est bien situĆ© proche des commerces et restaurants. Le mĆ©nage n'Ć©tait pas terminĆ© mais le propriĆ©taire a rĆ©agi rapidement. Par contre il y avait encore des oublis. Manque de taie d'oreillers, de torchon, de tapis de douche. Les ustensiles de cuisine mĆ©riteraient d'ĆŖtre remplacĆ©s et d'en rajouter.

Great location - only a short walk away from a number of restaurants and a 10 minute drive from the tourist areas. It was nice to be able to have our dog stay with us at the place and the host was accommodating. I recommend!

Lovely, fairly safe place to stay, very bohemian area

Arrived at night in the rain, couldnā€™t locate the exact number at first because it under a deck and itā€™s a basement apartment, had trouble with one burner on the stove, reported it to landlord, otherwise the place was fine, clean, quiet and in a great area. Found a place called La Souche, great poutine and great beer, you could walk into the old city if youā€™re up for it.

Great place to stay!

This was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Quebec City. It is a lower unit that is clean, quiet, and convenient. There are two bedsā€¦one is soft and one is firm. The neighbourhood is very charming with kind people and lots of amenities. Conveniently, Chez Lefebvre is a block away for coffee and a delicious baked treat. We chose to walk to Old Quebec. It was just over 30 minutes and the Via Rail station is along the way. Of note, there is a car rental place in Limoilou for the one day we needed a vehicle for travel outside of the city.

Great for a short break for our family

I stayed here with my family including two young kids. The apartment was true to the photos and had a good amount of space and everything we needed for our short break. The managing agents were very helpful and responsive during a problem on check in which was out of their control which we appreciated. Would definitely recommend

Nice neighborhood within a short bike ride to the Old City

This was a great place for us. Nice cafes within walking distance and a 10-15 minute bike ride to the old City. So many bike lanes and paths everywhere make for a nice way to explore with only a few days.

Studying French at Edu-Inter in Quebec City

Lovely neighborhood for my 4 week stay in QC to study French. My dogs were with us for a week and the apartment and location were well suited for having them there. The neighborhood is very quiet but still close to the downtown area (short drive) and just a few minutes walk to the best patisserie/coffee shop in QC - Chez Lefebvre on 3e Ave. We also really enjoyed Pizzaria No. 900 (also on 3e Ave) and Chez Carlos Cafe - a very unassuming and great Colombian restaurant 10 min walk. I think a must for visitors is a meal at Le ChĆ¢teau Frontenac - Sam Bistro - food is great and reasonable price with a great experience and great view. When we were there - they offered 4 hours free valet parking when you made a reservation at the restaurant. That worked out really well since parking can be tough to find and it gave us extra time to walk around the area. Avenue Cartier and Rue St Jean are both worthy of a stroll for shopping and restaurants. I had hoped to attend Quebec Baptist Church for Sunday service in the Old city, but was unfortunately not able to do that - probably a good place to be Sunday morning if you are in town. And I must say - the people of QC have to be the friendliest Iā€™ve met in my many travels - in the 4 weeks with my very limited French, they were all so friendly and helpful. Meeting the people of QC was my greatest experience in Quebec!! The mgt group of the apartment was also friendly & responsive.ENJOY!
