Perched atop a 1760-foot-high granite formation, Le DUN offers an unparalleled retreat from the bright lights of the city. Imagine gazing at the stars from the comfort of the master bedroom and waking up to the world at your feet, with mountain peaks stretching as far as the eye can see resembling the waves crashing on the ocean.

***If you plan to visit our home during the winter season (from November 1st to April 15th), please note that you must have a vehicle with all-wheel drive transmission (AWD, 4x4) and winter tires to access the property. Treat yourself to one of the most lavish accommodations in Le Maelstrom, a recreational area with nature trails, bike paths, and snowshoe trails. Despite a modest building footprint of 24 square meters (the maximum allowed by zoning laws), Le DUN spares no effort to provide luxurious living within the confines of a tiny home. The master bedroom features a queen-size bed adorned with a premium Tempur-Pedic orthopedic mattress, ensuring your absolute comfort for a restful night. Fall in love with the opulent, theatrical ambiance, with its high ceilings, panoramic windows and thick, luxurious curtains. The guest bedroom is equipped with queen-size bunk beds, sleeping up to four comfortably, for a total of six guests. Enjoy year-round comfort with heated floors throughout the cabin, complemented by a central heating/cooling pump and gas fireplace, ensuring warmth and comfort on even the coldest winter days. Relaxation and Modern Amenities: Watch the sunset colors fade away while enjoying the soothing waters of the spa. The kitchen is equipped with all the modern amenities you could want: a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, Nespresso coffee machine and luxury Villeroy and Boch porcelain tableware.

Just twelve minutes away, discover a high-end supermarket, a bakery offering fresh morning croissants and specialty breads, and a selection of local restaurants to satisfy your culinary cravings.

Electric car owners will appreciate the on-site universal charger, allowing for quick and easy charging during their stay. (Tesla NACS and J1772). In the event of a power outage, a backup generator ensures your stay continues without interruption. A few wellness services are available directly at DUN, such as Swedish massages, private yoga classes or hypnosis therapy. These can be booked separately with our partner. Every detail is designed to exceed your expectations, promising an unforgettable stay for discerning guests.

Located just 25 minutes north of Quebec City, Lac-Beauport is a town best known to outdoor enthusiasts, offering world-class recreational activities. Skating on the lake, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking and mountain biking on some of the most beautiful trails in the world, the list goes on!

Le Dun is located on the private Maelstrom Estate, the ultimate outdoor experience in Lac-Beauport. Maelstrom is a vast private land dedicated to lodging and recreation. A combination of on-site activities and unique accommodations offer unforgettable experiences.

The house is located in the mountains (altitude 550 meters), accessible by a 3-kilometer private road. To get there, you must have a car or book a shuttle service directly with us.

From April 15th to November 1st, any type of car is suitable to access the property.

TAXI and UBER: Due to the remote location of the house, it is not advisable to rely on taxi or Uber services for transportation. These services are rare in the area, so it may be difficult or impossible to find transportation and you may have difficulty leaving the house. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding transportation.

SHUTTLE SERVICE: We are excited to offer a convenient shuttle service to our guests! To use this service, please make your way to 99 Chemin du Moulin, Lac-Beauport, Quebec, where we have reserved complimentary overnight parking spots for you to safely leave your vehicle for the duration of your stay. This location is also our pick-up location. To ensure a smooth experience, simply let us know your expected arrival time, and we will add you to the shuttle schedule. The shuttle service is available at a rate of $50 CAD each way, or $100 CAD for a round trip to the house and back. We look forward to assisting you with your transportation needs!
