The apartment was cosy and comfortable, and good location. Rue St Jean (a street with many restaurants, cafes, and shops) is two blocks away. A well stocked convenience store is literally steps away. Relative to the old city / downtown, the location is a bit too far (at least for us), to walk to; but is a quick Uber ride away.A few relatively minor con-factors about this accommodation - certain features to be aware of:- The apartment building is very old, and it does not have central a/c. There was a room a/c in the bedroom only. And possibly due to old wiring, a couple times during our stay, a circuit breaker for the a/c tripped up.- There is one flight of stairs leading up to the apartment entrance and there is no elevator. This stairs is very steep and somewhat narrow So, one needs to be extra careful when lugging large heavy suitcases up or down the stairs.- some of basic supplies (paper towels, laundry detergent), were not provided. But it was easy enough to obtain them at a convenience store nearby- communication with management is primarily by texting/messaging via VRBO app. They do not provide a contact phone #.- management can be somewhat flexible with earlier check-ins and later check-outs, if it is only about dropping or picking up the luggage. In terms of apartment usage, check-in / check-out schedule is strictly enforced.Due to ongoing street repairs, access for Uber is sometimes blocked. So can walk to Rue St Jean to catch Uber.
