"We stayed for three nights on a getaway to the biltmore and the national park. We wanted a reasonably priced hotel that didn’t have the ick factor. You know, where you feel gross just staying there. That’s becoming harder and harder to find, but this place did a great job. Our room was clean and serviced daily, and everything functioned as needed. And the breakfast was pretty decent compared to many of the free breakfast areas. I’d definitely stay here again. "

"Very cool hotel with a lot of history. Located in the heart of downtown AVL-within walking distance of all the good restaurants & shops! Beautiful views from the rooftop bar & don’t miss the speakeasy on the bottom floor! The staff was so friendly & accommodating! We will definitely be back! A+++++"
