"We really enjoyed our stay. There was everything we needed readily available. It was absolutely spotless, cozy, quiet, and convenient. The bed was very comfy and access to washer and dryer was a nice plus. Why would we ever get a hotel room if this place is available??? We will definitely stay here again next time we come to Mars Hill. "

"We enjoyed a cozy Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin. It has a great layout for cooking and relaxing, and the views are gorgeous! We used the wood-burning stove most of the time there.I had read other reviews pointing out that there was a lower level unit and an occasional tenant. I'm very glad I was aware of that because someone came to stay there the last night. I would have been absolutely freaked out if I wasn't aware. Would have appreciated a warning from the owner though. "

"really enjoyed the property - private, well furnished, easy access to the places we were visiting in Asheville. Check-in was easy, and in fact it was ready earlier than originally stated. The flock of turkeys walking the area made for an interesting accoutrement. Would stay there agin if I was heading down to Asheville."

"This place was very comfortable. Since it was a downstairs/upstairs unit with a 2nd den downstairs it was great to seperate from family at times and watch TV or just visit and sleep! It was dog friendly and they loved running in the woods. The only downfall was no fenced in yard. The owners were always available with answers to any questions. Thank you!"
