"Upon arriving at the hotel, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Offering suggestions about where to eat, asking us if we needed anything additional to make our stay comfortable. We had come in from the Biltmore estate and upon arriving to our room noticed that it was definitely older and had a fair amount of wear and tear. The wallpaper was peeling and the pull out sofa bed had definitely been past its prime for use. The room was very clean though so that made up for everything...

"Hilton didn’t spend much on this new Spark. It was extremely ‘minimalistic’, no drawers, no towel bars, we had no lotion in our room. It looked like there was a ‘bracket’ for it next to the soap, the toilet paper was VERY thin & we had 3 tissues in our tissue box. The bed was comfortable & linens were nice. The Staff were OK"

"Pool area had no clean pool towels . No one in the area checking on this . Stable where horses and goats were had extremely dirty water that looked like it hasn’t been changed in days. Food at the restaurant was below average. Many food items were not available. Prices are very high for what you get . Understaffed. Mosquitoes were all in the pool bathroom and sauna areas. "My husband and I booked this room for our elopement. We thought it would be a nice place to stay while we are getting married without staying at the ritz while having a nice place to stay. When we arrived it was in a poor location, parking was awful, and there were signs everywhere warning kids not to jump, stating that kids shouldnt be left unattended, and when we went to grab a snack in the closet the staff blocked us in.
