"Had a brilliant few days stay at the cottage, the phrase that comes to mind is home away from home. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. Location for us was perfect with the monsal trail on its doorstep, loads of walking trails nearby and not far from Buxton. Really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend, thank you"

"Very comfortable bed and helpful staff. Antique furniture in the room might be nice to look at but it’s not always comfortable to use. Would’ve been nice if there had been a couple of comfortable chairs in the room. Also, having only a small cafetière in the room means that it has to be cleaned out after each use. That includes disposing of coffee grinds. Where do you put them?"

"The 18th century appearance of this inn evokes old style romanticism. The bar and dining area reflect the same. The food is honest pub fare. The room still smelled fresh from a recent renovation. "Lovely property and couple. What a welcomed feeling for two jet lagged travelers. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. Room was clean and cozy. Bathroom was stocked with all the creature comforts. "We absolute loved our stay at Castle House. It is a beautiful house and the decor and facilities were high end.
