Discovering the “great” in the small—that was the inspiration behind the name “Große Lage” for this vacation home in the Klein Stresow vacation village. It’s much more than just the visually appealing facade with red shutters that distinguishes this thatched-roof vacation home. Situated in the second row, somewhat sheltered from the Bodden winds and the bike path that runs past the vacation village, it’s particularly appealing thanks to its perfect south-facing orientation. Sitting on the terrace, you can enjoy the undisturbed path of the sun’s rays from early morning until late evening. From the cozy beach chair, the lounge chair, or the seating area, your gaze wanders to the sea and the meadows, to the beautifully overgrown lilac hedges and the other colorful thatched-roof houses. Delight in the peaceful sounds of nature. The wind, waves, and birdsong will quickly make you forget the stresses of everyday life and help you unwind.
Follow us inside the house. A spacious, bright, and open-concept living and dining area in Scandinavian style awaits you, along with a fully equipped kitchenette. In the morning, choose your favorite coffee from the Nespresso capsule machine or a classic drip coffee maker and enjoy your breakfast with freshly baked sourdough rolls from the farm shop. With the high-quality pots and pans, cooking on the induction cooktop is simply a pleasure—even on vacation. For barbecue enthusiasts, an electric contact grill is also available. The air fryer lets you quickly prepare additional delicacies. For cozy moments on the sofa, the crackling of the wood-burning stove creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere that fills the entire room. The bathroom area is also well thought out and features a beautiful Finnish sauna on the first floor, in addition to a sink, toilet, and shower.
Once you reach the upper floor, you’ll find two bedrooms with box-spring beds and spacious closets and shelves. Here, you can choose between a double bed or two single beds arranged lengthwise. You can also use the second room to take care of work or personal matters in peace. The small desk right by the window offers a fantastic view across the Greifswald Bodden—an invitation to let your thoughts wander or to read a book from the small library. The second, equally well-equipped bathroom is a real eye-catcher, lovingly designed with a dormer window in the thatched roof and a great view of the rising sun. A little tip: it’s a great spot to watch birds in the bushes and trees without being disturbed.
In addition to the linens package and other bookable extras, the all-inclusive amenity package naturally includes reliable Wi-Fi as well as flat-screen TVs in the living and sleeping areas. To protect against unwanted “guests,” insect screens are installed in the bedrooms and bathrooms.
