"The staff were very good and friendly. The property is older hence 4 stars but the room was very spacious and the huge deck with the heart shaped tub was enjoyable. Great spot if you want to relax and read a book. Was able to snorkle right off the front door but not a lot of fish to see. Spa treatment was reasonable and nice. "

"Great spot, heated pool, mini campfires in the evening. Do pack warm clothes, as it is cold in the morning and at night. The hotel has shuttle buggy to take you up and down the ridge to the cafes with views of Batur & the lake. Staff really lovely and helpful."

However, the bathroom let the room down, it was mouldy in places and generally smelled damp - it simply needs a good bleach and scrub! Super friendly vibes in the reception area, always people hanging out, was great for me as a solo traveler, and no issues with noise when it came time to sleep.
