However, I do feel the hotel needs more lighting in the area and some minor repairs to the property. Otherwise, everything was perfect. "We only stayed one night before taking the ferry to Utila. I appreciated that they arranged my airport transfer to the hotel and from the hotel to the ferry. My room was near the water, but you had to walk down the sand to get to it due to construction work. "Just wow! We had an excellent stay and I would rave about this property to anyone that wants to enjoy the beach and the pool and be centrally located and NOT on a party beach! So nice and the staff is amazing! The pool bartenders are hit or miss - they were not the same with service. The rest of the staff was so friendly and helpful and lovely! "What a wonderful place! As close to paradise as you can get! Casual and comfortable, with no pretension. The tidal pool was perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The food was incredible! The owners, staff and the locals who frequent the place were so warm and welcoming, you come in as strangers and leave as family! Can’t wait to return! "

"If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful get away... this is the place. The resort is small with only about 25 rooms. It's a bit dated but rooms were spacious, clean and the AC worked wonderfully well. The best part about the resort is the beach. It's absolutely gorgeous. Cruise ships drop people off at the beach from about 8:30am -2:30pm and the place goes into beach party mode with live music and beach bars. After the cruise crowd leaves, you have the entire place to yourself... literally!...

"Excelente opção em West End. O restaurante é ótimo também, muitas pessoas que estão hospedados em outras partes da ilha e até locais comem lá. O dono é brasileiro, muito simpático e prestativo. O píer em frente ao hotel para hóspedes é muito legal pra tomar sol e ver o mar também. Também gostei do Dive Shop do hotel, fiz só um mergulho, mas a atenção e orientação que recebemos foi incrível. A proposito, o gerente e instrutor também é brasileiro, Fernando. Mergulhar com ele já vale a viagem!"

"There is construction going on the 3rd floor and I was given a room right next to it. I booked to have a peaceful night stay before my flight in the morning and I was not able to get any rest. The room itself is clean. There was also some guy sleeping in the construction area/hallway which scared me as I was the only one on this floor and I heard movement in the night and saw him. The security talked to him but I’m not sure if he just lives there in the hallway? Didn’t feel safe as a solo woman....

"Beautiful beach with a restaurant and bar. Additional restaurant on the property called wikki grill. Very tasty and cool atmosphere. The room was big. We liked the walk on closet. Good ac as well My only complaint was the mattress was not comfortable. There was a big lump right where you lie and the sides of the bed tapered so you feel like you will roll off. Otherwise the place was amazing"

"Anthony's Key Resort was a true definition of island getaway. It did not dawn on me until I arrive that the rooms were tucked away on an island. That level of privacy and tranquility is unmatched. Alexza and the other staff are courteous. Highly recommend"
