"minimal facilities..pls be aware that this hotel only reachable by boat..make a mistake when booking this hotel..however i enjoy this hotel due to it is close to nature.. Found a rat inside the shower room..and electricity went off around 5 am.. It will be very jot but shomehow bearable"

"What can I say about La Villa Langkawi Private pool aside from what a fabulous hotel! The pool provides such a relaxing intimate setting, the hookah availability is a wonderful touch! The spa is amazing!! And the food here is delicious! Not Only are the staff wonderful and make you feel like family but they are extremely thorough in cleanliness! Initially we were allocated a room on the ground floor with not a lot of room and one narrow window overlooking an access road. We were very disappointed. After some discussion we agreed for a 5 day stay this was not acceptable and we would either check out or pay for an upgrade. "All of the staff were friendly and helpful and even organised transport to a local spa for massages which were very good value. Our room was air conditioned, cleaned daily and toiletries, towels and drinking water were also replenished. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. There was a 15 minute walk into the touristy beach area but that suited us. The bar and restaurant food were reasonably priced and available until late. The pool was a haven in the heat with poolside food and drinks...
