"What can I say about La Villa Langkawi Private pool aside from what a fabulous hotel! The pool provides such a relaxing intimate setting, the hookah availability is a wonderful touch! "All of the staff were friendly and helpful and even organised transport to a local spa for massages which were very good value. Our room was air conditioned, cleaned daily and toiletries, towels and drinking water were also replenished. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. There was a 15 minute walk into the touristy beach area but that suited us. The bar and restaurant food were reasonably priced and available until late. "Lovely hotel on a great site in the heart of Langkawi. Shops, eating and beach close by. Initially we were allocated a room on the ground floor with not a lot of room and one narrow window overlooking an access road. We were very disappointed. After some discussion we agreed for a 5 day stay this was not acceptable and we would either check out or pay for an upgrade. "One of the best places we've stayed. The room was really big with a nice bed. The rooms have a terrace but I would recommend asking for a room that is not looking out over the road. Everything is in walking distance. Good food good beach. Staff very helpfull. Highly recommended. "
