"My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely."

"The bus was cute, a lot of reviews are complaining about bugs and spiders, but I don't know what people are expecting with a bus in the woods. There's also a lot of complaints about mould on the curtains, however the state is humid and I didn't see any mould, just rust stains on the curtains. Which isn't dirty, it just seems like par for the course. The bus was clean, there were plenty of tools to cook with and a fridge. The biggest complaint I had was the mattress is old and not very...

"The house is in a quiet location. Not being on the main channel made it easier to enjoy the water. The kitchen is small and needs more outlets."

"Great Lakefront House. The room layout is unique but it worked for our group (3 families in town for a travel baseball tournament). Great access to fishing and kayaks and plenty of room to have a group meal. The kids and families had a great time."

"The lady that checked me in was extremely nice. The room was clean and comfortable. What surprised me the most is how quiet it was compared to a conventional hotel room. You couldn't hear the people beside you or underneath you. I will definitely book here again. Great Stay!"

"A peaceful retreat, perfect for stargazing, sitting around a fire pit and getting away from “the noise”. RV was clean & comfortable. Private, outdoor shower is a nice, roomy addition! John is an excellent host that communicates readily. "

"Was the perfect get away if you want privacy...totally secluded! Check in process was simple, owner was great to communicate with and very responsive. We immensely enjoyed our stay! Facilites were kept up and kitchen stocked for all we needed. Will definitely be booking here again!"

"Cozy feeling to the cabin..beautiful, peaceful setting on the lake. We saw deer walking through the yard! So amazing! Will definitely return for another stay. We hosted a family cookout for about 12 people, and one family member requested information and interest about property for his own famiky getaway. The hist was always prompt about answering all questions we had. Really enjoyed our stay"

"A wondeful cabin in the woods with everything we needed for a quiet weekend getaway. We spent mornings and evenings on the front porch enjoying the sounds of the woods and enjoying nature.The road to the cabin was rough but easily navigated in iur SUV."

"Needed a quiet place to stay in Princeton WV while working a job there for a couple weeks. This place was an absolute gem! Nice and cozy remodeled cabin in the woods. Definitely off the beaten path, but well worth the find. Would love to stay there again if the time and place called for it. "

"So much potential with this one! The cabin was brand new and beautiful. So was the bathhouse. Property is on a busy road with cars and motorcycles zipping by until the late hours. Property manager did not send confirmation until 20 minutes after check in time, I was on the road and couldn’t respond and by the time I got there and realized there was no cell service. I could not access my app to write to request the Wi-Fi password… If there is one? Normally this would not be priority,...

"My husband, parents, our 2 pups and I, all stayed in this comfortably quaint home just for one night. We were on our way back to Ohio from Oak Island, NC, and it was a lovely middle point to rest for the night. Laura was very accommodating to allow us to bring our 2 pups who travel with us everywhere. She was also kind to let us check-in a little early as we made good time. The home is set in a gorgeous setting on a private road a few miles from 77. We went to Wytheville, about 20 minutes away,...
