"After a busy week touring Monteverde and Arenal, our stay at this house on Playa Negra was a much needed restful few days at the beach. Loved the proximity to the beach to pop over the street when we wanted as well as the relaxing sounds of the waves and ocean from the expansive balcony and all the delicious restaurants nearby. "Beautiful Caribbean style property across the street from the beach. The master bedroom bungalow and upstairs bedrooms have AC and we had no issues with the bedroom without as it stayed cool with the provided fans. "What a beautiful property! Communication with the owner was fantastic. We rented the three casitas on the property and all were perfect for our group. The grounds and pool were immaculate. The wildlife was abundant with sloths, parrots, toucans, capuchin monkeys, howlers and more. Cesar and Maribel were there for all of our needs and made us feel safe. Would highly recommend for sure!"

"The primary reason to stay in this casita is the location and the stunning views. The garden is beautiful with a path that opens to La Playa Negra. The beach is quiet and private and absolutely breathtaking. We were able to spot the sloth in the garden on a few occasions and had an up close view of him moving once which was very special. As previously mentioned in reviews, there was a bottle of wine and chocolate waiting for us. We were met to check in and get acclimated to the environment....

"The property was in the perfect location and this was our third time in Puerto Viejo! When we return again we will definitely be staying here. We love how secure it was having a car and all.
