It is located in a resort setting, with gated entrance,
There is 24 hour security and front desk just like a hotel.
Upon arrival, guests can Go to the front desk and get the key to the unit.

There is a seasonal On site restaurant with room service options.

The condo is on the 3rd floor, with exceptional open views of the ocean and green lush mountains.

The complex has private gate entry to the beach, With outdoor shower , pool , jacuzzi and large tennis court.

The building has a restaurant serving breakfast,lunch and dinner during high season.( starting in October) reasonable price. We can not guarantee the restaurant Hours or days open. It can vary

The complex has a very friendly 24 hours front office reception crew, to provide you with condo keys, beach towels, gym and beach keys , ice, extra supplies ,wifi codes and all other sevices. ( very similar to a hotel front desk)

There are multiple small restaurants on the beach with local food services and reasonable prices.

There are many vendors on the beach offering fishing , jet skis, parasailing, snorkeling, day boat trips, whale watching etc.....

The condo is next to the 5 star Hotel ā€Barcelo ā€ Resort, offering
ā€œday passesā€ to eat and enjoy the facility at very reasonable rates.(9am to 6 pm ,all you can eat and drink ).

The area is known for 2 major Hollywood movies." The Night of Iguana" ā€˜ and " Predator 1" with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Also the new TV series ā€œAcapulcoā€ with Barcelo hotel used as the main filming place.


The colors, sounds and the fresh air surrounding this paradise like setting leaves you with a lasting memory of peace and tranquility.

The condo is :

1 bedroom with a large king size bed , and private full bathroom .

Very large living room with a second full bathroom , 2 futons that can be used as bed, dinning table .

2 people can comfortably live there butā€™ up to 4 people maybe possible


Newley renovated kitchen with all the appliances.

Good size balcony overlooking the blue ocean.

TV in bedroom and in the living-room, DVD and some reading books and magazines.

Additional blankets,pillows and towels for extra people .

Washer and dryer unit, iron and iron board, with extra closet in the living room.

There are 2 options for Wifi

1- WiFi available, as a shared wifi in the building. ( user name 5303, password 5303 )
Having a personal hotspot device may help straighten the wifi signals
inside the unit.

The views were amazing. Property overall was a little dated, but clean and nice. Well worth the price. The only downside was that the futons were dirty once you extended them for sleep, and there were no sheets to put on them.

The pictures of the property do not do this condo justice. It is an amazing space that is well taken care of with amazing views.The onsite staff are wonderful and nice. There is private access to the beach and sun loungers. The onsite restaurants and pool were closed during our stay but looked very nice. The only complaint is that the host did not return messages nor did they let the front staff know we were coming. They had to scramble to clean upon our arrival (we were even a day late due to flight delays). Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking to have a quiet serene trip to PV.

The location, the property grounds & gardens are beautiful and the view of the bay was breathtaking. Would absolutely stay again. Unfortunately pool was closed for repairs & communication with owner a bit slow. Access to the beach was great to have. When a few items needed repairing the building staff were very helpful

Frustrated

Yes the view was Amazing, the pool and hot tub were great and we loved the on site restaurant. But we had a bad water leak from the master bathroom toilet and getting it fixed was frustrating. Got a maintenance guy to look at it after 3 days and he didnā€™t know what to do so my husband spent all afternoon fixing it. Closet doors falling off, no book to tell you how to use the washer/dryer and also the TV. Never got ahold of the owner until the end.

Great Location outside of PV downtown

This was our 2nd time coming to this Condo. Itā€™s such a wonderful and relaxing place to vacation. We love the 24 hour security and onsite restaurant. Walking from this location into the town of Mismaloya is not difficult and the two stores to get provisions are great! We love it here at this condo!!

Nice Location in a tranquil & quiet setting

The building is in a nice quiet location. It is an older condo building but is very well maintained and has all the amenities needed. We met many other people staying or living at the condo building in addition to the building staff and everyone was very pleasant. The pool, jacuzzi, tennis and sitting areas are wonderful. There is a fantastic restaurant within the condo that is open for lunch & dinner. We really enjoyed their food.The condo itself is very comfortable and accommodating with an amazing view of the bay and ocean. On many days we seen whales and dolphins from our balcony. We definitely plan to come back again as we really enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I have been coming here for 35 years, this was absolutely our favorite.

We had a wonderful stay and we eat at the Mismaloya Grill every night. Itā€™s always a treat to come back to the beach to visit Rocky / Roger and Tony. We would have stayed longer if our friends condo didnā€™t get cancelled.

Week long stay with my husband

Beautiful property, condo is clean and spacious.unbelievable views, lots of restaurants around on beach and in the village. Itā€™s accessible and a great place to spend the week. The pool has plenty of lounge chairs, never too busy.Only complaint would be the bedroom. Bed is bouncy and uncomfortable. Hard to sleep if the person next to you moves even a little. Street noise is loud from bedroom so make sure you bring ear plugs or a white noise option. Otherwise that, had a beautiful stay!

Stunning views and good snorkeling!

Amazing location and unit. Well outfitted with dishes etc. Had to pick up a few things such as dish soap,and HE laundry soap, paper towels and some spices (lots of salt but no other spices). Beach towels provided and cleaner comes 2x per week. Snorkeling is best on the ledt side ftom the beach along the rocky shore. Saw lots of fish and a sea turtle twice. Out at the iguana pole at the end of the path there is a ton of anemones and it gets clearer.

Loved our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at La Jolla for our 2 weeks. The condo and building inside and out were by far the cleanest weā€™ve ever stayed in. The numerous staff were constantly cleaning, painting, and gardening. The condo itself was great, up until 3 days before we were leaving when a valve cracked inside the toilet tank in the master ensuite. We had got hold of the owner, and someone (not the condominium staff) was supposed to come and fix it, but no one showed up before we checked out. Luckily we had the 2nd bathroom, and the owner was kind enough to offer a one night refund. The bed and pillows werenā€™t great. The ā€œcouchesā€ in the living room were awful. Super low and uncomfortable. I think they were trundle beds/ futonsā€¦.?? The Mismaloya Grill Restaurant on site was a bonus. Excellent staff and fabulous food!! We ate there often. A small drawback is the all-inclusive right next door. We knew about this as we had stayed at the all-inclusive 6 years prior. Luckily only a few nights of crazy noise and music. The most annoying was the entertainment director screaming into the microphone during the day. Beautiful pool, met some wonderful people during our stay. Would definitely go back.

Wonderful stay

The stay was wonderful. The condo is about a 40 min drive from the airport, but the drive is worth it. Mismaloya is way quieter and less hectic than the resort area. The check in process was very easy. The people at the desk speak enough English to help with that process, but speaking even a little Spanish will help. The condo itself is a nice size. We had dinner on the balcony a few times, and the views are magnificent. Easy access to the beach, and the fact that itā€™s a less crowded area, made staying here very enjoyable. Definitely worth every cent.

Magical Place

My mom and I had had such a magical and beautiful vacation. From the location, to the people, the water, food, the flowers and birds and butterflies. It was magic. The view from the balcony was beyond words. Everything was so kind and helpful. We are planning on coming again next year!!!!!!

Beautiful Views, but needs to be cleaned

The view was amazing from the balcony & staff on site was courteous & helpful. Short walk to get down to the beach, & beautiful pool to relax at. The location is quite a ways from any convenience stores Or restaurants, so we had to Uber to any amenities which was a task. Definitely take Ubers over the taxis in front of the building, as the taxis were 5-8x the cost of Ubers. The cleanliness of the apartment was questionable as all the blankets on arrival did have extreme body odor to them, so we spent the first day washing all the sheets & towels. The apartment also had a heavy smell of mold/mildew so it should be noted & scheduled for a heavy cleaning & treatment if possible so future guests do not get sick. Also, the apartment did not any paper towels or dish soap for cleaning/dishes so either bring some yourself or maybe ask the property owner to provide them. I think the owner has an Amazing opportunity to upgrade the interior/amenities provided to make the stay more relaxing, but my stay was lackluster due to the amount of cleaning we had to do in order to be comfortable.

Beautiful view, beach and places to eat were fairly accessible. If you're slightly clumsy, watch your shins on those futons. Needed to add an extra night to my original booking, went seamlessly.
