Fall Break

Lovely condo & has everything even beach chairs for a great beach vacation. Comfortable furniture and beds & great comfy patio furniture to hangout on. Will definitely be back. Resort was clean & staff was very helpful.

November Visit

The property is great. The condo was clean and the furnishings, inside and out, seemed quite new. Great views of the sunset from the balcony. We would definitely stay here again if we go back to Rocky Point. Only thing we couldn’t find in the kitchen was a wine opener. No biggie.

Great Condo. Not a fan of Sonoran Sun

If you want to take a vacation of making sure you are not breaking ALL their rules. I thought Las Palomas was bad this place is worst. Don't put towels on pool chairs. Don't talk on patio- it echos. Don't do this Don't do that.

Sonora Sun. Exceeded my Expectations. 10plus Isn't a high enough score for this beautiful place!!!

I went on a girl's trip just for a weekend this place was everything and more there was nothing that we needed or could have asked for that wasn't there, the front desk were polite and spoke very good English My debit card was left at the restaurant the staff was honest enough to put it away for me the place was absolutely gorgeous it was beautiful it had everything that you needed. The pictures are as real as it gets. Pools were beautiful beach was beautiful. Staff was helpful, I will only stay here from this point on.

Overpriced and underwhelming

This was our first time in Rocky Point, and we were very disappointed with the condo and the resort. The condo was at a pretty steep price for the lack of cleanliness. The day we arrived the master bathroom faucets were pretty clogged and so was the shower. The second bathroom smelled like sewage and the faucet and shower stoppers weren’t fully functional. All the towels had stains of some kind, and the bed pillows all had hair on them. The included washing machine and dryer set were pretty disgusting. I had to go out and buy Clorox to wash down everything just to make it livable for us. The first night the thermostat was programmed to completely turn off at a certain time and not turn back in until 10:00 am. This was in July and our first morning we woke up after an awful sweaty night. The second night the thermostat just quit working all together and we didn’t know who to contact as all the phone numbers we had in the paperwork went to closed offices. So we had a miserable sweaty second night. The next morning we called the main office and they sent someone to fix it pretty quickly, but by then we were pretty over it all. The pool area is pretty nice and the bar set up has good drinks. The bathrooms to the pool area were disgusting, and they stayed disgusting even after I alerted a guard about how bad they were. The on-site restaurant has pretty good food but the prices are pretty steep, most plates were over $20. The bathrooms in the restaurant were pretty bad too. Overall I spent more than I would have spent in San Diego on a bay front hotel. I don’t think anyone could pay me to stay in this condo ever again.

Great weekend getaway

The property is as advertised. Spacious unit with a fantastic balcony overlooking the pool and the beach. Easy check in process, secure facility, clean pools and beach area. Just what we expected. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect spot

Right in the middle of the resort next to the elevator overlooking the pool. Beautiful views! The condo had everything we needed and the property included a convenience store and restaurant. Best part is the banana boat and jet ski rentals are right in front of the property on the beach and the quad rentals were right out front the main entrance. About 15 drive into the marina and malecon.

I’ve stayed at the Sun numerous times and have owned at the Sky. This condo was very nice. I would select this one again. The gym is clean and the property is well taken care of. Enjoyed the stay.

Great room!

We visit Rocky Point each year. This room was perfect. Not too high up, great view, and the beach wasn’t as rocky as some other places we have stayed. We definitely enjoyed ourselves!

We have stayed at the ‘Sonorans’ before, this was by far the best condo. The decor was great, beds were excellent, kitchen stocked and bath towels were more soft! The views are always amazing and didn’t disappoint. We will be staying in this condo again!

It's all about the view!

This was our first visit to Rocky Point. The condo was as advertised. Great balcony, very spacious unit, comfortable, well stocked kitchen. Bring your own K-cups. There were none to be found. We were there for spring break, if you're looking for quiet, this is not the resort for you. Unit overlooks the pool as well as the sea. Activities until 10:00 each night at the pool, lots of families with small children as well. Not sure how it is in summer or other times of the year. The owner needs to stock more towels in the bathrooms. We had one wash cloth in the master & no beach towels. On the plus side, the unit was spotless when we checked in.
