La Mariposa Azul is a 3rd tier, cheery, dome-centered (boveda) house with easy beach access and has amazing ocean views from both upstairs master suites. One suite has a spacious king bed, the other a comfy queen and each suite has a small private balcony. Both upstairs bathrooms have colorful Mexican tilework with large walk-in showers and one has a luxurious tub.
The heart of the home is the brick-domed great room in warm colors, with a tiled kitchen complete with all amenities, a breakfast bar that seats 4, a rustic wooden table that seats 8, and a comfortable seating/relaxing area with cable TV. Incredible ocean and sealife views await from every upstairs window.
Downstairs are 2 queen bedrooms plus one more bedroom with 2 twin beds. Downstairs bathrooms have unique colorful Mexican tile. With the 5th bedroom there is a complete 2nd kitchen and great room with eating and seating areas. There's also a sofa that makes into a double bed.
Upstairs and downstairs exterior patios invite soaking up sunshine and sea air. Located at the quiet end of Las Conchas with wide sandy beaches and close to the estuary opening, there's plenty of parking for friends and families to enjoy this lovely affordable home. The graceful Blue Butterfly design is distinguished by 2 curved staircases in the front and the blue glass tile curved walls upstairs and down. The downstairs entry room has a fusbol table, and there are games and puzzles and books to appeal to every interest. All rooms have ceiling fans, and the house is further comforted with 4 AC/heating units. Wireless internet is available if you want to stay in touch and bring your own computer.
