We live here in Rocky Point full time. Just a couple miles west of this home.

Managed & maintained by Kimberly & Barney Guethle- Beach Time Vacation Propertie Management. A CERTIFIED APPROVED Sanitized property licensed by the Government of Mexico & The City of Puerto Penasco Department of Health. Casa Cortez has met all the requirements of the Sanitation Manifesto Protocol developed for safety and health.

CASA Cortez offers a fully stocked kitchen for all your family fun cooking needs.
Dishes, utensils, small appliances, pots & pans readily available and user friendly.
Comfy beds, linens, and bath towels provided.

Please bring your own Beach Towels, Sand/Camp chairs and beach umbrellas for sitting at low tide or off the patios.

Our Patio furniture is abundant and comfortable . Relax on the patios or down on the tide line and watch the DOLPHINS go by.

Casa Cortez has 2.5 bathrooms👍 plus a Beach Shower.
We can sleep 7 in beds. Max capacity is 8 with approval by management. The posted rental rate is for 6 guests.
**Our regular nightly rate is for 6 guests or less guests. Accurate guest counts are necessary to meet the Beach House guidelines provided in the guest info attachments.

We are in the neighborhood of Playa Miramar just east of Rocky Point city center.
Less than 5 minutes from The Mayan Palace Golf resort and restaurants.
Just 1 row of private oceanfront homes. Gated, guarded, 24/7 security patrolled.

Playa Miramar is away from the crowds and noise of the resort areas.
Smooth sandy beaches, tide pools. Excellent swimming and sporting opportunities.
Plenty of seashells to find.

Gated parking and secure courtyard on your private lot. Safe to let your dogs out to do their business. Dog friendly beach as well.

Beautiful house on the beach with tons of shells deposited by the daily tides. House was very clean and had everything we needed to grill out and cook breakfast. Very private. Please make sure new renters receive driving instructions before coming. We had a mix-up, but was resolved easily and nicely. Thank you!

Beautiful home. Excellent views. The A/C units kept the house nice & cool. Loved the decor being beach & Spanish. Super dog friendly.The house is very well equipped. The kitchen has everything. Out of all the places we have stayed, this kitchen by far had more pots, pans, utensils, etc. Plenty of water jugs.Very private & relaxing. The only thing we didn’t like is how far away from store’s & restaurant.

This was one of the best vacations i have taken of late. The house was as described, absolutely beautiful. The home has all the creature comforts! The house is on well water so you need to use it responsibly. We brought our dogs for their first time to the beach and they had a blast, it is so nice that Kim’s houses are dog friendly! The house is right on the beach which is a private beach so no need to worry about crowds. Be aware the house is 30 minutes from town but it’s an easy drive. All in all i would HIGHLY recommend this host and house, we will be back again and again. Perks: a/c, WiFi, tv if that’s your thing, games, updated appliances, location, fire pit, enclosed area for dogs. Drawbacks: far from town if you want to be close, limited water (more than enough if used responsibly. Kim and Barney thank you!!!!

After seeing so many vacation rentals (bad & worse)…. Casa Cortez was by far our family favorite! The property is beautifully maintained and clean! The decor and inside amenities are top notch! - NOT garage sale filler junk (like others). The kitchen drawers are organized and filled with matching quality kitchenware. -not abused mix-match like others. The location is amazingly quiet and safe. Very easy check-in and immediate response to any questions. We will definitely be back! And feel confident to share this with family & friends! Very well ran. Felt like a luxury hotel & our home within minutes!

Hostile communications from owner

Pros: Beautiful sandy beaches, quiet areaCons: Hostile communications from owner, dirty sheets.Unfortunately two beds were dirty (stains, crumbs and pet hair) which necessitated changing the sheets. I messaged the owner in the morning to advise re: the beds, but did not hear back for several hours. Later that afternoon the owner (Kim) left an angry voicemail accusing us of "false accusations" and that her husband and security were on their way and they could evict us. Owner (Barney) and security arrived, Barney was very agitated, stating that we were lying about the beds being dirty. I offered to show him photos and he refused. Seeing that the situation was escalating, we advised him we were simply trying to let them know that we had to change the sheets and this seemed like a huge misunderstanding, which de-escalated the situation. The owners response was hostile and unnecessary. The owners have several rules in place (e.g. how often to flush the toilet) and we were merely trying to let them know that we had to change the sheets. A suitable response would have been, "sorry that happened, thank you for letting us know." I have stayed in Las Conchas with other owners without issue and I was very disappointed to have to deal with this level of unprofessionalism and hostility. See photos below so you know what to expect when you communicate with the owner. Further, we were told check in was 3 PM by owner, VRBO app stated 2 PM.

Perfect

This place was perfect. It was a home away from home, not just a house. Stocked with everything a person could need from towels to salt and pepper. If there is a detail they missed I did not come across it. The weather did not cooperate, but the house did not disappoint. Kim was the most amazing hostess from check in to check out. I can not wait to return to this secluded, oasis.

Our stay was great! They had pretty much everything you need like laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, outdoor hose/shower w/ Ample kitchen supplies and towels too! The property felt very safe and it was very easy to find! We are definitely booking this casita again for our stay next time.

Perfect Family Getaway

This was the most beautiful house we have ever stayed at. We loved the location and the home had everything you would need for a very relaxing vacation. Very clean and super cute. We enjoyed the patio the most. Morning coffee and relaxing sunsets were the best. We will definitely be returning again. I give this place 5 stars. :)

Amazing

A truly amazing property. Double lot the house is on adds to privacy and location and views are absolutely stunning. We had a great time relaxing and taking long walks on the beach. The drive to town is a manageable 30minutes and we never felt that our safety was in any kind of jeopardy whether at the house or in the town. This is a gated community with guards at the entrance.

Comfortable & beautiful beachfront stay

Casa Cortez at playa Miramar has been one of the most wonderful vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. The beach was so spacious, safe, private and peaceful. The home was fully furnished with everything we could’ve needed. Very nice, clean and comfortable. The kitchen and views were impeccable. Every space in the home caters to the beautiful nature surrounding it. Plenty of outdoor space and seating. We enjoyed the fire pit as well. We will certainly be returning to this destination and home again!

Absolutely lovely

We loved our stay here so much! The house was so charming my daughters kept saying they wished it was our house. There were many breakable decorations, so with a 2 year old that made me a little nervous but we had no issues. The beach was as expected. I personally like staying somewhere like this more than in a resort hotel.

My family and I stayed in this lovely house! The owners are amazing always a call away. The house is in a private area with 24 hour security, cars are parked inside the property, kitchen is well equipped. Everything Super clean!!!!!! The house just felt like home to us! Will most definitely be coming back.
