Experience an opera evening in the 2000 year old amphitheater, which is even older than the Colosseum in Rome. But medieval architecture and museums are not missed here either. A similar distance away is the must-see city of Mantua, founded by the Etruscans and whose old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Romanesque cathedral, the Renaissance church of Sant'Andrea or the palace Palazzo Ducale.
