"This hotel has a vintage, boutique feel. The bar is also where you check in and is open 7am-11pm. Make sure to ask for the WiFi password when you check in. There is only street parking available. The rooms are small but cozy. The staff is very friendly. The location is within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants, as well as the St Charles trolley."

"I thought to hotel was a good value especially with the complimentary breakfast but the decaf coffee was not good"

"Very clean and cute. My only complaint is there is no microwave in the room but they will warm it down stairs. And my other complaint is there is no daily room service. Other than that it was a great stay. The location is a little questionable but it ended up being really quiet"

"The staff was excellent! Every day when we saw housekeeping in the hall, they asked if we needed anything. On-site free parking was convenient. Loved the scent of the soap and lotion. No breakfast, but they have coffee and some snacks free in the lobby. There is a sign in the room about housekeeping by request which is fine with me. My recommendation to the hotel is to add more towel bars. There is room to add more. With 2 people (and the room can fit 4), there were not enough places to hang...

"Comfortable is what best describes Maison de La Luz. All areas are very clean and well decorated. The location is good. The room was comfortable, spacious and extremely clean. There’s a happy hour every afternoon with complimentary wine, cheese and grapes and we enjoyed that. Coffee and milk was delivered every morning to our room (the only thing that didn’t happen as expected because we had to call twice for it). "

"Very lovely spot overall! Great building and architecture. Shower/bathroom was small for me and my boyfriend (we are both over 5’7”/6’2” 200+ lbs so we are big folk we know but just for reference)! Bedroom was super cool, the AC was nice it just didn’t get as cold as we were used to back home/with the LA 90+ degree weather/humidity. Didn’t see any staff during our 3 day stay which was totally fine. We did book because we were under the impression there’d be a private parking lot, but it is just...

"Beautiful southern home, minimum amenities and crickety bed. I thought it was located in a remote part of the city, but once you get to know the city, it's close to 91 Bus and Charles Street trolley. One of America's best bakeries is located only a few steps away from the location. Other than that, I dont know what to say after staying here for 2 days."
