"Beautiful location, friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable rooms. Highly recommend. Despite my stay being during the off season, they made sure I was taken care of with dinner and breakfast on my overnight stay. Great location to rest after travel and exploring the nearby Cape Spear/Mistaken Point Ecological Reserve. "We booked this for our mini honeymoon the three nights following our wedding (end of Sept) and were excited to stay in the King Suite. But ended up being quite disappointed. The room was very cold with no heat and the front desk person wasn't the nicest when we asked for extra blankets. We weren't expecting the red carpet but at least a "thanks so much for choosing to stay here for your honeymoon". Some of the staff were great but generally no one cared that we had chose Dalvay for our honeymoon...
