"Lovely unit in a house right across the street from the beach in a cute neighborhood. Easy access to dining or you can cook in the apartment. We met the owner and he was very gracious, looking to make sure we had a great stay. He even bought us breakfast when we ran into him at Tim’s. I booked through VRBO and didn’t receive the check in information prior to our arrival. I called the host when we got there and they texted the information right away. I would absolutely recommend By the Beach....

"Great space, great hosts! Sadly the massage chair was not working. This left only 3 seats for comfortable sitting. Owner did say they had another chair on order. We did a lot of driving every day in Gros Morne. Wanted to sit down and chill. Would stay here again! Hosts were quick to respond."

"The waterfront with gazebo, paddle boat, canoe and sitting area are the main attraction at this basement suite. Unfortunately, we were rained out for 3 full days and spent our time inside, so offer that perspective. The kitchen is well-equipped. WIFI is good. We found the seating (1 love seat, 3 backless kitchen stools) somewhat uncomfortable for long periods of sitting (to read, for example).
