Em West Bay, a praia é linda e agradável, mar turquesa e calminho, mas é bem cheia e movimentada, com mais opções para comer, passeios, etc. Este hotel, em contrapartida é muito mais sofisticado, novo, confortável e também caro (restaurantes, estadia, transporte, etc). "yes the staff were courteous. It was annoying that when you walked up 3 flights of stairs to get to Herbie's the restaurant door was locked and they wouldn't let you in that way. They insist that you take the elevator via the garage but I don't like elevators if I can avoid them "

"Despite the terrible weather in Roatan for our trip, Turquoise Bay was an excellent resort. We were contacted in advance of our arrival by the hotel asking if we need a shuttle in, and upon arriving we were greeted by lovely guest reception. "Very comfortable bed. Daily housekeeping was nice. The staff is so personable and makes you feel like part of the family. It’s a bit of a swim, but if you’re up to it, the reef is worth it it for a good snorkel."

"I loved the location of this property! The buildings themselves have so much potential. The insides are very outdated and run down. The coffee maker was burnt and stuck to the warming plate and the sheets had drains. BUT you can’t beat the location and super friendly staff. The pool was super clean and warm with a nice outdoor shower. I would definitely come back here if they lowered the price for current condition of the buildings. And I would bring my own sheets. You can’t beat the location...

"When we arrived there were no rooms available, even though we had a prepaid guarenteed reservation through Orbitz, and we were turned away. When we requested a refund via Orbitz it was denied. We were out aproximately $100 for the room and $25 for a taxi to another hotel. The only positive was that the Hotel clerk did help us find another hotel. I chated with and Orbitz agen for about 15 - 20 minutes who was virtually no help at all. "

"O hotel tem uma boa estrutura porém é bem antigo, o quarto estava com cheiro de “fechado” a muito tempo. Precisa de uma reforma. A localização é ótima, perto dos bares legais e praia. "
