"We had a deluxe villa with own pool. It was just a shame due to staying later in the season, we did not get the sun on our loungers and the pool was very cold. (Still tried it though!!) Suite was lovely, Breakfast was good, lots of choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Resort is close to main road, which was a bit annoying if sitting out. Overall though, could not fault the resort.
However, walked along the nearest beach, and was very disappointed with the amount of rubbish and...

"The hotel is great regarding the pool, the views, the beach access. The bedroom have a great dimension but the structure do not block the noise - namely during the night. So, the night experience wasn't the best. Avoid the rooms in the reception floor. "

"Excellent hotel with lovely helpful staff. Great breakfasts and a really comfortable bed. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity but it is only a few minutes walk into Rethymno's historic centre where the restaurants are generally better. The view from our balcony over the port was great although there is some noise from main road running along the seafront - only noticeable when the doors to the balcony are open as the soundproofing is very good. It is a good hotel...

"Don’t get me wrong, the suite was just wonderful. The room I booked overlooked the sea and I slept to the sound of waves. Gorgeous. The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 1 for the staff was the young man who checked me in first night. He was absolutely lovely!! They need to just have him and him alone at the front desk. The cleaning crew were also very nice and greeted me when they saw me, they were way nicer than the rest of the front staff. Not that they were rude or anything but not warm...
