"Makai Club was a great place to stay. The accommodations are clean, spacious, well-appointed, and views of lush vegetation all around are beautiful. Staff is friendly and helpful. They loan you beach chairs, umbrellas, DVD’s, and more. There’s a lovely pool and jacuzzi. Great location near Princeville and Hanalei."

"Starting with what we disliked the most, it would be the checkout experience. We booked a hospitality room for taking a shower before our flight and when we got there it was a total mess. Clearly the previous family had just left the room and they gave us the key without any cleaning whatsoever. Towels and water all over the floor, no soap, etc. Brought this up to the guy at frontdesk and he says something like “cleaning would have been nice” with a totally “could’t care less” attitude as he...
