Alii Kai 5301 occupies a prime top floor corner because you enter the building at the second floor level, you've got just 13 steps to climb to reach your door! Inside this updated Princeville condo you'll find elegant appointments and comfortable tropical furniture. The kitchen has been beautifully upgraded - plenty of countertop and island space if you want to stay in and cook. Washer and dryer are right in the condo. There's a remodeled and spacious master bathroom to make you feel pampered and special. You won't mind an occasional rainy day at this north shore Kauai condo. It's a pleasure to stay in and relax, enjoy the view - even watch for whales during the winter months - and savor the peace and privacy of this perfect top floor corner location. All of our Kauai vacation rentals at Alii Kai are 1200 square feet with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a private lanai.

In addition to the unobstructed ocean views from the living room and both bedrooms, you've also got great mountain views and can even see Bali Hai. Lie in bed and watch the waves roll in or fall asleep to the sounds of the surf at night - - yes, you can admire the view without even getting out of bed! The master bedroom has a king bed, the guest bedroom has a queen bed. Cable TV, telephone, and free wifi are provided. Complex includes a swimming pool. There is a shared gas barbecue grill which our guests are welcome to use. Cook up your catch of the day or throw on some fresh Kauai beef burgers.

You'll be delighted with our Alii Kai resort condo's convenient location. It's under two miles to shopping and dining at the Princeville Shopping Center. You'll find casual dining at Hideaways Pizza Pub and oceanfront fine dining at the Princeville St Regis just over a mile away. The scenic town of Hanalei and the great beach at Hanalei Bay are 10 minutes away, Anini beach 10 minutes away, and other attractions like botanical gardens, horseback riding, and ziplining are also nearby.

As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned.

This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators.

Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

Awesome stay!

The property and unit were great! We enjoyed the beautiful views from all of the rooms, especially the primary bedroom! The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed cooking many of our meals there. It was also nice to enjoy the pool in the afternoon after our daily hikes/ trips to the beach. Appreciated the convenience of using the beach chairs, cooler and umbrella during our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful Views and Peaceful

This was our first stop on Kauai, and we really enjoyed the panoramic views. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood, and relaxing on the deck while viewing the beautiful ocean. There is a nice breeze which helps keep things cool inside. We drove into Hanalei to enjoy the beach and for some meals. The local market had plenty of supplies and fresh food, too.

Lovely, comfortable, quiet condo with an unsurpassable view! This was our third stay at Ali’i Kai and this is my favorite unit yet. So close to shopping, walking paths, and my favorite beach (Anini), yet very private and peaceful. Mahalo for a wonderful stay.

Amazing location in Princeville

This was an amazing property that was well maintained. The wrap around balcony has beautiful views of the ocean and the Nā Pali mountains. The property management company was very attentive. I highly recommend this property.

Spectacular ocean view and quiet Resort

The Resort is beautiful with an amazing ocean view. Access to beach is difficult and slippery, but didn’t mind taking a short trip to other beaches. The condo is nice with upgrades in master bathroom. Plenty of extra linens, towels and beach towels, beach chairs, ice chest, …..

Kauai Condo

The view was amazing. The furniture especially the livingroom needs updating. Sectional worn and saggy. The bedroom mattresses uncomfortable. Kitchen well equipped but microwave too high of location for short people to reach. Condo was very clean and well stocked with towels etc. Anti slip safety shower tape needs to be put in showers. Master bedroom sun shade on window was broken. For those with mobility issues too many stairs to reach condo. Overall beautiful view...good location...well stocked....clean.

Beautiful and nice but

This is a beautiful property. We were there for a week with no problems but the owners need to think about an AC unit of some sort or some large fans. They also might want to replace some appliances. Once we figured out the air cooling situation it was a wonderful stay.

Amazing Views, But...

You can beat the ocean and mountain views from this condo. They were stunning! Great beaches and restaurants close by. But the condo itself was somewhat outdated. TV was difficult to use, bedding was scratchy and pillows were terrible. Fridge would kick in with loud hum off and on through out the day and night. Dryer only has one workable setting--HOT! We were surprised to learn that there was NO AC--arrival day was hot and humid, but once windows were open condo cooled down comfortably in 24 hrs. Toilet in small bathroom didn't flush well. The kitchen, however, was stocked well with everything we needed, and there were numerous games/puzzles to keep us occupied as well as beach gear (chairs, cooler) etc to use at the beach. Overall, I give the property 5 stars for views, but 3 stars for the condo itself.

Princeville Paradise

Great condo with amazing ocean views. Very comfortable with all we needed for cooking in. Plenty of breach towels and other beach equipment which we used daily. Highly recommend this condo. Also appreciated the attention from the rental company. Got a day before, day of snd day after arrival calls to ensure we had no questions or issues.

Excellent Condo! Pick this one, you won't regret it!

This condo was beautiful. It is the absolutely perfect place, the views are unbelievable from every room! The short drive to Hanalei Bay was so easy and we really appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, bug spray, sunscreen, and other beach items that were in the condo. We also used the pool at the condo, nice short walk just at the other end of the parking lot. There were games, cards, and books in the closet. There were books about the area, the islands, and a binder of very useful information about farmers' markets, beaches, hidden spots, etc. The kitchen was so well equipped. We've stayed in a lot of VRBO condos, this was by far my favorite because it had everything you could think of, it felt like home! If you want to stay on the North Shore, this would be the one to pick! I was a little worried about the rainy forecast, and for a while was regretting booking the north shore instead of the sunnier southern shore. However, there was part of every single day with sunshine. It rained everyday, but not all day. When we did go to the south side of the island we found it to be crowded and the beaches were smaller. The best beach on the whole island is at Hanalei Bay and this condo gives you perfect access from beautiful Princeville.

Loved this condo!

This condo seems like it's been updated recently, as everything inside was very modern. The kitchen has a vast assortment of cookware so that you have everything you need to cook meals. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. Both bedrooms, living room, and lanai have great oceanfront views. It also comes with all kinds of beach gear (beach chairs, towels, coolers, etc.), so you won't have to rent/buy those. The location and nightly rate was what attracted me to this condo, and I must say that this unit was a great value. I won't hesitate to stay here again.
