Newly Renovated Camp on West Grand Lake in Grand Lake Stream Maine

Newly renovated camp with beautiful views on the shore of West Grand Lake. West Grand Lake is a primer fishing destination known for it's fly fishing in Grand Lake Stream which is 4 miles from the camp to the village. The lake is known for salmon, tougue, white fish and small mouth bass, the water is crystal clear and great for swimming and boating. While we have a septic system, we do draw water from the lake for bathing and cleaning. We provide 2 bottles of water for drinking, you may need to bring additional water especially for longer stays.

While the camp is newly renovated, it has that old time camp feel with knotty pine, a sleeping loft, a mix of antique and new fixtures that gives the camp it's charm. The camp has a beautiful panoramic view of the lake.

The camp is just off Bonney Brook Road on Shady Lane. The road is accessible by car and easy to get to. The area offers great fishing, hunting, four-wheeling and snowmobiling with miles and miles of trails to access from the camp. Great hiking trails are also in the area.

The camp has a dock for easy lake access by boat, gas grill, picnic table and fire pit for outdoor enjoyment. Rates for initial guest is $75 per night and additional guests are $55 per person. Parties of 4 or more will be discounted to $55 per night for all guests upon request during off season. Family rates are available for July and August at $1,300 per week. Rates for solo renters in July and August will be $130 per night. Monthly rates are available upon request and my differ from per person per night amount.

Grand Lake Stream is a quiet village with a stream that runs through it. The town also offers a family run store with fishing supplies, groceries, a food counter that serves fresh sandwiches, pizza and ice cream if you would like a sweet treat. Step back in time and enjoy Grand Lake Stream has to offer. Everything for the outdoors enthusiast or for someone who would like to get away and unplug for a while in a beautiful setting.

Fantastic Camp!

Absolutely beautiful camp, has everything you need kitchen wise. Remote location. You are inbetween 2 camps, but you dont feel stacked on top of each other. Perfect view of the sunset. Gigantic lake with waves, had much fun floating in the tubes riding the waves. Beware! The weather on the lake can change very quickly! We found great cell reception when we went out on the lake in the boat! Crystal clear water and friendly neighbors that rescue you when the current carries you away. Shout out to Mark down the road for saving us haha. We had quite the adventure and best weekend. We would love to return in the future to this beautiful place. Also my dog did not get a single tick! Very nice outdoor space to hang out in.

Authentic Maine Camp in Grand Lake Stream

If you are looking for what would be considered a true camp, look no further. This camp reminded me of the camps our family would rent 60 years ago for summer vacations, but with modern amenities! The location is perfect and the view is to die for. Didnā€™t get to experience the beautiful sunsets due to 2 days of rain but would go again in a heartbeat. Your host has thought of everything!

Fishing Base

We had a great time at Breezy Shores this past weekend. We used it as our home base while we fished GLS. The kitchen was well appointed for a camp and there is plenty of room for people to sleep. Overall the camp is clean and recently remodeled, with hot water, shower and comfortable beds. Great distance to GLS. Thanks so much!

West Grand Lake Memories

We were looking for an out of the way place with great views and comfortable surroundings and Breezy Shores did not disappoint. The inside of the cabin was beautifully done in various pine woods, the view of the lake was superb and the place was well stocked with all the necessary items for our three day stay.

What we needed

If youā€™re looking for a place with service and a place to be on your phone, this is not it. But if youā€™re looking for a place to recharge and appreciate your surroundings, this cabin is a dream. I was nervous to go in the winter because I wasnā€™t sure weā€™d be able to do much, but then I realized when we got there that we didnā€™t need to do much. The property manager was kind, and the binder she has on the dining table with things to do really was a life saver out there with no service to look up things to do or where to eat. I also really loved the journal that visitors can write in to describe their visit. The tv with the DVD player being the only way to watch tv made my fiancĆ© and I feel a little nostalgic, and we loved that. All in all, I really loved the cabin, and I will be back in a different season!

Grand Lake Cabin

I enjoyed my stay at the cabin. The lake is incredible and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area. I would recommend the fish hatchery tour.

Piece of Heaven

Great location, very clean and quaint cabin on beautiful large lake. All amenities at your finger tips. Myself, husband, and our 2 pups stayed here for a long weekend. We all enjoyed the beauty, quietness, reconnected, relaxed and swam. Early morning hikes at Tower Hill and Musquash Esker Trail. Late morning swim and pups enjoyed jumping off the dock. Afternoon naps and evening fire pit. Beautiful area and very friendly people. A piece of Heaven here in Maine.

Breathtaking sunset!

What an amazing time we had at the Cabin. It was clean and smelling really good. It had everything we needed. It was perfect for me and my family to disconnect. My boys 11 and 13 enjoyed every min of it. We hiked, went swimming and floated around on floats provided by the host. We had breakfast at the pine nook down the street and watched a beautiful sunset. I wish we had spent more time there. We canā€™t wait to come back. No cell coverage so Download a map on your phone. We drove the stud mill rd which is a dirt road for about 40 miles on the way there but it was a cool experience.
