"We had the best stay here!! The history of the house was amazing and the owners have kept it original while adding the modern conveniences. Myself and my daughters stayed and we spent so much time trying to take in all the special touches like the history of the house and of Shirley, very cool to read about! And Duke the hounddog was the perfect touch, he roams Shirley getting love and food from everyone. Perfect place to stay so you're in the middle of all the towns to go and do and experience...

"This place was great! I could sit on the porches all day! The best thing about sitting in the porches is that I didn’t notice any mosquitoes, I think the bat population from the caverns in Blanchard springs near by keep the mosquito population low. I also used the fire pit to eat hot dogs and s’mores one night. My children, 5 and 11 year olds loved it as well. I plan on staying here there again in future. "

"Clean and comfy! Great mattresses! Exactly what we needed! My 20 year old son enjoyed the space from parents in the loft bedroom. I enjoyed using the kitchen table as my sewing station. The men enjoyed fishing nearby. Hubby really enjoyed the live music in the downtown at night. We ate in a couple meals a day so there was plenty of dishes and tableware. Host left lots of snacks so. Really enjoyed those. The Keurig seemed to have bit the dust by there was a drip maker too which is what we prefer...
