The house was adequate, comfortable, clean, cozy. I wish we had more time to spend on the deck down by the river. If there is a future family reunion in the area, I would book it again. "

"Another great time! The lake was beautiful as always. Some amenities need some work and maintenance; but the place is as great as it was the previous 2 times we stayed. Also, the waterfall hike is completely different now and we had to take a detour around a huge landslide. Crazy to see what Mother Nature can do in the 2 years since our last stay. "

"This is a long overdue review. We booked this as a goof, thinking it would be some wacky disaster that might lead to a good story. Instead, we were blown away by how awesome it is. The cabins are small, so don't ignore the descriptions. They're a place to sleep and keep your stuff. That's by design. "We had a great stay! For the price, you can't beat it having lake front rental with kayaks. Nice views of the lake. Very peaceful. 15-40mins away from great hiking. It was private; sometimes we heard neighbors, but rarely. House on a main road and would hear road noise, but if no cars passing, then it was quiet. We used the kayaks, and I brought my paddleboard. Life jackets were provided. There were a lot of lily pads and the pictures must be older. On the small lake, there was a trail...
