Your very own wooden chalet, nestling in peaceful countryside. This charming cottage for 4 is the perfect place to escape from it all. The chalet is part of a small complex scattered across this 18th Century organic farm. Set in a lovely garden, it would suit and family or friends who want to get out into nature.

The front door opens into an open-plan living area which has been attractively furnished with a sofa, a flat-screen TV and a dining table and chairs. There is a small kitchenette in the corner which is equipped with an induction hob and fridge.

Outside the front door is a charming shaded terrace with a dining table and chairs for meals al fresco, enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Sleeping
Bedroom: The attic bedroom, has a wooden double bed, 2 single beds, which can be joined, and a wardrobe. A glass door opens onto a pretty balcony which has a café-style table and chairs for a relaxed cup of coffee admiring the panoramic view.

Bathroom
The tiled bathroom has a glass shower, basin and WC.

Location
The farm is in the Koroska region, close to the border between Slovenia and Austria, in beautiful countryside. It is the perfect base for a hiking or mountain biking break. The area is well-known for its many trails and stunning landscapes. The Single Trail Park Jamnica is on the doorstep and offers a wide variety of routes for all levels.

In the winter months, there are several ski resorts within 30 minutes of the farm but the best destination is Ski Centre Kope (1 hour). For adrenaline-seekers there are several frozen waterfalls or mountains to climb.

There are many activities for children and adults alike. Close to the farm there are themed walking routes where you can learn about the local nature and traditions (in several languages). Close by there is Huda Luknja cave to explore (1 hour) or alpacas to meet at Alpaka Land (45 minutes). The fairytale forest at Dezela Skratov (40 minutes) makes are great day out for younger children, and for a more grown-up adventure, try the Enigmarium Escape Room in Slovenj Gradec (40 minutes)

There are supermarkets and grocery stores in Prevalje (17 minute drive) for self-catering. The town has all the amenities visitors will need, including banks, restaurants and pharmacies.

Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana is just 2 hours away and is a fascinating day trip.

The nearest airport is at Klagenfurt in Austria (1 hour) alternatively, Ljubljana Airport is a 1 hour, 50 minute drive.
