This attractive apartment for 4 people is on the first floor of a chalet-style cottage. The cottage is part of a small complex on a charming, organic farm, in one of the most beautiful regions of Slovenia. The apartment is ideal for family or friends who want to get out into nature.

The spacious living area has a pitched, wooden ceiling. It is furnished with a contemporary sofa, and a flat-screen TV. In the corner, there is a dining table with banquette seating and chairs. Next to this is a modern kitchen which is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, kettle and fridge/freezer.

A door leads from the sitting room out onto a shaded balcony. There is a small table and chair where guests can relax with a glass of wine.

Outside the front door of the cottage is a shaded veranda with outside seating. This overlooks the extensive shared garden with a children’s play area. In the garden, guests will find communal seating and dining set-up’s as well as a BBQ.

Bedroom 1: The alpine-style master bedroom, with a wooden ceiling, floor and wardrobe has a comfortable double bed.
Bedroom 2: The second attic bedroom has 2 single beds.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.

Bathroom
The modern, tiled bathroom has a glass shower, basin and WC.

Location
The farm is in the Koroska region, close to the border between Slovenia and Austria, in beautiful countryside. It is the perfect base for a hiking or mountain biking break. The area is well-known for its many trails and stunning landscapes. The Single Trail Park Jamnica is on the doorstep and offers a wide variety of routes for all levels.

In the winter months, there are several ski resorts within 30 minutes of the farm but the best destination is Ski Centre Kope (1 hour). For adrenaline-seekers there are several frozen waterfalls or mountains to climb.

There are many activities for children and adults alike. Near the farm there are themed walking routes where you can learn about the local nature and traditions (in several languages). Close by there is Huda Luknja cave to explore (1 hour) or alpacas to meet at Alpaka Land (45 minutes). The fairytale forest at Dezela Skratov (40 minutes) makes are great day out for younger children, and for a more grown-up adventure, try the Enigmarium Escape Room in Slovenj Gradec (40 minutes)

There are supermarkets and grocery stores in Prevalje (17 minute drive) for self-catering. The town has all the amenities visitors will need, including banks, restaurants and pharmacies.

Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana is just 2 hours away and is a fascinating day trip.

The nearest airport is at Klagenfurt in Austria (1 hour) alternatively, Ljubljana Airport is a 1 hour, 50 minute drive.
