Fortunately, the security latch stopped the door from opening completely, although the force partially ripped the door trim from the wall. "This hotel was a perfect choice for a family trip. The breakfast was delicious, and the kids especially enjoyed the tree swing and the complimentary s’mores. The pool was also very clean, allowing them to have a great time safely. The location was another big plus, as it was close to both downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, making it very convenient to get around. If I ever visit Bar Harbor again, I would definitely stay at this hotel."

"We stayed in the motel portion. The location is convenient and our room was ok, but the bathroom had a sliding door with no locking mechanism, which is quite ridiculous when there is a family staying in the room. When I emailed the property twice about this, both emails were ignored. Similarly, I messaged them with a request for "late" checkout (11 am, since their checkout is a ridiculously early 10 am), I received no response."

"We loved the cabins and found them to be extremely clean and cute! The Bass Harbor Lighthouse is a short 15 minute walk from them as well. The host was very kind and knowledgeable about the island. We would stay here again!"

"This adorable little motel was perfect for my daughter and I. We stayed in a two bedroom cottage and it was immaculate, with the room being serviced daily. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were surprised that one air conditioner cooled the entire cottage, but it did! The bathroom was small but was fine for us. My only recommendation would be to replace the chairs in the main room with a couch, facing the television."

"The property is at the walking distance from the downtown which awards having to drive and Park. The staff is very nice and if you are, someone who already had been over there they will remember you, which is a nice touch. They remembered I had the Service dog and they did remember that."

The bed was comfortable, the shower had great hot water after long days of hiking, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I appreciated getting fresh towels every day since I was showering twice a day because of the heat and all the hiking.
