"We enjoyed this beautiful river home over the weekend with our adult children and their spouses as we were attending a wedding in Easton. It was about a 20 minute ride through cornfields and Eastern Shore countryside. The house was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the peaceful Choptank River. We would definitely like to stay again"

"We had grandparents (75yr), parents (50yr), young adults and teenagers (17-21) and a dog. Everyone had something to do and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We did canoeing, swimming, boarding, fishing, crabbing, biking, sunbathing, we had S’mores, watched marvelous sunset, played card games. The dog had the most fun by chasing squirrels and rolling in the mud. He did not get to do this at home. My parents came to visit me from Bejing China. They had a good time talking with Rob and their...

"Perfect house for a long weekend. Clean, cozy and great communication with Maxine. Would definitely stay here again when I return to Cambridge. "

"The house is welcoming, with several different seating areas inside and out. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch and the chairs by the water. Kitchen is very well equipped. The property is about a mile and a half walk to St. Michael’s. The management company is quite responsive. "

"Soul enriching location. The dock, the fresh eggs, the local GBH, and night sky all contribute. Quick access to Blackwater NWR. The furnishings and kitchen accessories are adequate. The microwave door no longer closes correctly and has to be pushed until the fan stops. None of that matters because of the location. "

"Very clean and modern house in excellent location in downtown St. Michael’s. Very comfortable and included convenient parking. "

"Right on the water beautiful sunsets"

"Photos are accurate and it was great to have a dock to go out on. It was very peaceful. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch any fish or crabs in late August. House has a comfortable layout. Lots of outdoor games for kids. Communication with the host was easy and timely. Close to Cambridge lighthouse, RAR brewery, and blackwater nature reserve. NOTE: If you plan on cooking with your group, I’d recommend bringing some basics, knives and serving bowls. The kitchen did have good pans, pots and lids. "

"I only had a slightly wider view of the water from a kayak- the panoramic view from the deck was peaceful and beautiful from first light to sunset (though the night coasts were relaxing as well). Inside was clean and had nice decorative touches. We had all we needed to cook in when we did. Easy to walk or ride around and an easy drive to surrounding attractions.We'll be back!"

"This is a beautiful historic property and the perfect setting for any escape. From the picturesque waterfront, to the charm of a historic home, this was truly a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of St. Michael’s. Our dogs loved the dock and swimming in Miles Bay, my teen and her friend enjoyed grabbing some sun on the decks. Peaceful sunsets with my husband and plenty of space to host a crab feast; or sneak into town for a meal at Ruse - this spot has it all. We can’t wait to come back!"
