"We came up for the weekend for our fanily reunion . The house is old & smells like an old house, which isn't a bad thing. The house was clean & tidy. We couldn't find the hot tub,but it was all good. We didn't spend much time at the house, except for sleeping & watching tv in the evening. Thank you for a pleasant stay."

"We had a fantastic stay, really appreciated the proximity to all sorts of fun family activities - we did the Mystery Cave Scenic Tour, our own Amish country driving tour (courtesy of the host supplied map), biked a ton, went to the community pool, did a few of the "nine hole" fishing spots in Preston (stop by Curt's and/or Driftless Flying Fishing for tips), and went for a tube float down the Root River with Root River Outfitters. "Check in was easy. We parked a car in the very clean garage. Kitchen had everything we needed. Barb got back to us quickly with a question. The area is quiet and private with places to sit outdoors. You could see a horse next door at its stable. The area is beautiful and close to Rochester with its many good restaurants. "

"Our family stayed in the Lanesboro House and had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for our family and dog. So close to biking, tubing, brewery, restaurants, etc. We all decided that we would like to come back next year. "

"We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It’s located in the perfect spot for fly fishing and was quiet and secluded. The property was beautiful and the inside of the cabin was cozy. We would highly recommend and will stay here again!"
