"Stayed 2 nights in twin room. The room was small ,however it had everything we needed. There was tea/ coffe/ hot chocolate available in the room that was replenished daily. The room was warm as we were top floor, but there was a fan provided which was very welcome. The bathroom was very small, and you may find a struggle if on larger size, however like rest of property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. "

"Lovely guesthouse that has been updated but still has kept its beautiful character. The owners Carl & Tace were so friendly from the get-go and we really liked our room, especially the bed itself, how clean it was and the location. You’re really close to the centre, sea and a nice little park/gardens opposite. "I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year."

Fantastic shower, tea and coffee and a well stocked kitchen that was spotlessly clean.
Alexa in kitchen to enjoy music if required.
Access was easy and instructions regarding everything were in the folder in the room.

"Matina apts are in a great location right next to the beach. The pool area are great. Food at the pool bar is great value and nicely presented. All staff are friendly and helpful. Staff also remember you as people come year after year to these apts. You feel comfortable and safe. "
"Lovely hotel, nice sized room, nice sized bar with lounge area and pool table, central location close to town centre, harbour and pier, lovely indoor pool, staff really friendly and helpful, evening entertainment as well, really good value for money, i will book again at some point in the near future but will make sure im not staying right next to the lift as its noisy up until 12am and again from about 6am the following morning."
"First time away with my partner on holiday for one night, the rooms were wonderful, nice spacious area and comfy beds. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Just wished the check in was before 3pm but overall wonderful hotel to stay in for a night away or two. Definitely coming back again. "
