"It’s a good choice for staying near the lake. We stay there for a couple of days every August. It looks like the rooms were upgraded since last year. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are really, really comfortable. No restaurant in the building, but it shares a parking lot with Shoney’s, where they have a fantastic breakfast buffet. On the other side of the building there’s a convenience store with a couple of restaurants. Desk staff is always friendly and accommodating. "

"Location was great. Hotel was clean. The rooms were clean. What I didn’t like was the loud tin noise coming from under the bed everytime I moved in the bed. The keys to the room gave a lot of issues. Sometimes it work ‘ sometimes it took numerous tries to work. Drain in the bathroom sink needs drank. The toilet had an extra loud flush noise. Other than that I enjoyed my stay there and I would stay there again. "

"Breakfast was bountiful but taste was lacking. A/C ran all night. Loved that! Pillows were soft n blankets were comfy. Stairwell smelled awful but the pool was nice enough"

"Very nice and professional staff. Dinner and drinks free and a good buffet breakfast. They allow dogs! Hot tub and pool not too shabby! Very convenient to downtown and historical places."
