Villa Volare is a splendid villa with the fascination of the typical and ancient mediterranean houses. It sleeps eight people. From Villa Volare you will enjoy a thrilling view of the sea and of the coastline. Villa Volare is 160 square meters (1720 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, two wide private terraces with a view of the sea, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in a pedestrian precinct, in the seventeenth-century historic center of Praiano, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will find the stop for the Flavio Gioia bus Positano - Praiano line at 120 meters (390 feet) and the closest beach (Marina di Praia Beach) at roughly 1 km (0.6 miles). You will reach Villa Volare from the street level going up a 150-meters (490-feet) public walkway that includes approximately 62 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Volare. If you do have one, you will be able to park it for a fee, in one of the private parking lots of Praiano (pending availability).

Villa Volare is part of the historical center of Praiano, which consists of a cluster of white houses on the highest area of a steep slope of a hill overlooking the sea. The houses are nestled around the beautiful bell-tower and the eighteenth-century church of San Luca.


In this area of Praiano, almost all the houses date back to the eighteenth century. They feature white façades often decorated with stuccoes, patios below masonry arches sustaining terraces facing the sea, and sloping gardens filled with flowers and citrus trees around. To walk through such extraordinary village, declared World Heritage site by UNESCO, means climbing narrow stairways and pedestrian streets.


The whole area is made for pedestrians, except for the only access street to the main square. Here you will not find streets packed with tourists; all you will see are the kind inhabitants of the place. And you will be able to experience the fascination and authentic beauty of the Amalfi Coast: one not changed by the actions of tourism!


Villa Volare lies in a secluded position, having been built chiefly on a rocky steep slope. Once you have crossed the entrance gate, a beautiful white staircase - flanked with pots full of flowers - will lead you up on a terrace which is the access to both the house and a second larger terrace (through an external flight of steps) where you will find the swimming pool and the garden.


Villa Volare will enchant you for sure! You'll face only the blue of the sky and the sea, while both sides show the green coastal outline spotted with the typical white houses in Praiano.

Swimming Pool
You will reach the swimming pool from the first terrace going up an external stairway which consists of approximately 15 steps. The pool is 4 meters (13 feet) large by 6 meters (20 feet) long, 1.4 meters (4.6 feet) deep. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the sea and of the coastline. The pool is open from the beginning of April until the end of October.

Terrace 1
The first terrace is 40 square meters (430 square feet) large. It is shaded by a roof. It is equipped with masonry benches, as well as with a table and chairs. Here you will also find a barbecue. From the terrace you will enjoy a fascinating view of the sea.
Garden
The garden is 60 square meters (645 square feet). It is shaded by a perfumed lemon pergola. You will be able to reach it from the second terrace. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the garden you will have a gorgeous view of the sea.
Living Room
You will be able to enter the living room from the first terrace through a corridor. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The furnishings are simple and comfortable, and include a sofa and two armchairs. There is a nice fireplace made of stone. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels) and a DVD player. The room has a arched window. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen through a corridor. It is equipped with a six-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances. The dining table can accommodate six guests. The kitchen has a high window.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a bedroom chair. From the bedroom you will be able to enter a small balcony through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid blue majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed) and a single bed (80 cm/32 inches). From the bedroom you will be able to enter a small balcony through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid white and blue majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
Bedroom 3 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the third bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed) and a single bed (80 cm/32 inches). The room has a small high window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a shower and a hairdryer.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a shower and a hairdryer. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room.
Roof LevelTerrace 2
The second terrace is 200 square meters (2150 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the first terrace along an external stairway. It is partly shaded by a gazebo and by an awning. It is equipped with a wickerwork sofa and two armchairs, as well as with a table, chairs, deck chairs and sun loungers. On the terrace you will find a fitness area equipped with a home gym and a fitness bench. From the terrace you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea and of the coastline.
