"Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. Accommodations are basic but sufficient, if you are looking for an experience more like Dominica than a luxury hotel, Berkey's place is fine. Access to the property is straightforward and...

We arrived later than expected and though we had not reserved a dinner meal the hostess graciously made us some sandwiches. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again in a heart beat. "The setting is lovely, secluded, and with a pool and beautiful deck, bar area, perched in the tropical hills. It is a stunning setting. The driveway to the Resort is steep and challenging, especially the first time. Once you've made it to the top, it's worth it. We would stay there again. "

Balcony was a perfect view of the ocean and we got a bird's eye view of ocean wildlife coming ashore in the morning at breakfast.
