What could be better for an exceptional holiday than a charming villa with private pool in the Minervois region (Occitania)?

Ideally located just 39 km from the city of Carcassonne and the beaches of Gruissan! Here we offer you a beautiful holiday home for 4 people, just 1 km from the village of Pouzols-Minervois. As soon as you arrive, you'll be enchanted by the covered terrace with table and chairs and the flowery scent of the garden. The pretty garden with its Mediterranean plants and flowers surrounds the large pool area with sun loungers. The swimming pool (1.30 metres deep) has an elegant Roman staircase. At the rear of the house there is another very quiet, smaller terrace. The interior exudes an inviting atmosphere. The glass doors open onto the terrace at the front and rear of the house.

Even though you can hear the road passing below the villa from the front terrace, the children have plenty of space to play here. You can park your car in the shade in a sheltered car park. The house is also equipped with an ecological water treatment system.

Pouzols-Minervois is a small wine-growing village on the Route des Vins (Wine Route) between the Aude and Hérault regions in the heart of the Minervois region, on the road linking Carcassonne to Beziers. This beautiful village is close to the Canal du Midi (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and is famous for its magnificent 17th century buildings, its panoramic view of the plain around Narbonne and its Romanesque church. The hills above the villa are home to a wide variety of Mediterranean plants that will delight any hiker in search of new scents and hidden paths. These hiking trails offer a marvellous view of the plain stretching from Béziers to Narbonne, with the Pyrenees and especially the Canigou mountain as a backdrop. Wine lovers can visit the wine cellar museum or a winery where wine is produced from 2000-year-old grape varieties. These exquisite Minervois wines, produced using the region's expertise and state-of-the-art winemaking techniques, are regularly recognised at national competitions. Places of interest in the surrounding area include the beautiful villages of Aigne and Bize-Minervois (5 km) and Minerve, a listed village. What else is worth seeing: Saint-Chinian (18 km) or Béziers (27 km) in the north-west. Situated at the foot of the Cévennes, this lively town is a good starting point. You can also discover the region between the Canal du Midi and the banks of the Orb with its 17 typically Mediterranean villages and exceptional vineyards, all just a few kilometres from the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean.
