"When we got there we had to clear spider webs off the doors to open them up. (That should have been a clue) It was hot a stuffy in the house, but they left fans since there is no air conditioning (thank you). When we got everything opened up it cooled down pretty well. we arrived kind of late, so we started dinner and let the kids play in the game room. around 8pm my daughter went to get the kids and a few inches from my 10-month-old grandson was a large black widow spider. She remembered seeing...

"We took a last minute trip to the snow, and had never been to this area. Jim and Karen answered all of my questions (I had a lot) and they couldn’t have been nicer. They welcomed us by having a nice roaring fire going in the cabin. We had planned on going to Alta Sierra, and the tube park was closed. Turns out, there was no need to go at all. There is a small hill right next to the house, and a larger hill just down the road. We will probably take chains for the cars next time, just to be safe."

"It seems in the past it might used to the be good, looking at the infra.
We arrived and there was no one at the check in - it was closed. Thee was a nunber to be called, but no one answered.
Finally, I found an on-site worker who knew someone ( not the person at the sign ) that could help me. A very nice old lady who did hsr best but could barely find the key. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY....

"This property is absolutely beautiful. The river runs just below the area and the sound of the water is so nice and calming. They have coffee for the mornings which i truly appreciated! 2 seperate buildings for bathrooms and a separate space with showers (partially outside, rock floors and open roof! Also access to the river with steps made of large rocks. Everyone was helpful and friendly. "

"What an amazing experience! The Cabin is at the top of the mountain and over looks Lake Isabella.. We enjoyed the short drive to Sequoia's 100 Giants Trail. Also a relaxing day atvthe lake and the 3rd day the Kern River. I would recommend this Cabin to anyone!You have to check it out for yourself, picture can only do soo much justice! See you soon SkyRanch ;)"

"We needed a break from traffic and people. The cabin was amazing. We could see the stars, no light pollution, no noise pollution, just us and the outdoors. Every day we saw deer come up to the cabin and graze. We sat on the balcony and watched all ten of them graze right in front of us. The host was quick and responsive. The cabin is 15-20 minutes from kernville and 20-25 from lake Isabella township. It’s a great place and secluded while being close enough to venture into town on a whim. "
