"The cabin was nice and roomy, the hot water heater didn't work but the manager was very responsive. He drove 2.5 hours one way and fixed the issue. Also while we were out sight seeing after he fixed it he did our dishes so when we came back we could relax. That was awesome. Would definitely recommend the stay"

"When we got there we had to clear spider webs off the doors to open them up. (That should have been a clue) It was hot a stuffy in the house, but they left fans since there is no air conditioning (thank you). When we got everything opened up it cooled down pretty well. we arrived kind of late, so we started dinner and let the kids play in the game room. around 8pm my daughter went to get the kids and a few inches from my 10-month-old grandson was a large black widow spider. "We took a last minute trip to the snow, and had never been to this area. Jim and Karen answered all of my questions (I had a lot) and they couldn’t have been nicer. They welcomed us by having a nice roaring fire going in the cabin. We had planned on going to Alta Sierra, and the tube park was closed. Turns out, there was no need to go at all. There is a small hill right next to the house, and a larger hill just down the road. We will probably take chains for the cars next time, just to be safe."

"It seems in the past it might used to the be good, looking at the infra. We arrived and there was no one at the check in - it was closed. Thee was a nunber to be called, but no one answered. Finally, I found an on-site worker who knew someone ( not the person at the sign ) that could help me. A very nice old lady who did hsr best but could barely find the key. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY....

"RV was really cute and the property manager was very friendly. Everything was clean and working which is a huge plus considering it was so affordable. Only things I missed was things like hand soap, shampoo, ect. The bed was pretty hard but not the worst I've been on. No TV so if you're wanting to watch something you'll have to bring your own. We didn't have time for TV so it wasn't an issue. Would definitely stay again "

"The Cabin is really beautiful and spacious. The host left us a welcome basket of goodies and coffee. The kitchen was fully stocked with multiple appliances to use. There was towels and ballets supplied for us to use. Host was generous and allowed us to do a late check out of the cabin. My family and i enjoyed staying here while visiting Sequoia National Park. "

"We love Kernville for the biking and rafting and small town feel. The house was well located within a mile of town and was super clean. Plenty of room for 5 guys. We enjoyed hanging in the backyard too. Highly recommend "

"This place is magical, and Chris is an excellent host! The home is clean, beds are comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked, extra towels are provided, the furniture is so comfortable. The area surrounding the cabin is gorgeous and peaceful. We had a wonderful time!!! "
