"there is NO beach view from the lodge but a superb distant view of the City of Plymouth across the Tamar river. Property very clean, outside patio area & furniture needs a good pressure wash clean. One single bed lacks headboard, no bathmats for showers, these are minor gripes, it's a lovely place to stay with nearly everything you need inside. Good restaurant on site."

"we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. "Small, but had everything we needed! Bed was very comfortable, lots of supplies in the kitchen. Easy walk from station, and the transport to the Eden Project was a plus! Also, the washer/dryer came in handy for us, allowing us to pack half as much clothing! Claire is a lovely host!"

"We enjoyed an amazing weekend at The Old School House, celebrating my mum’s 80th birthday. The property is perfect for a large group, with large communal spaces where everyone can come together, but also some cosy nooks where you can enjoy a moment of quiet. The fact that it’s located above the beautiful Fowey estuary, with fantastic views and the town and beach a short stroll away is just a bonus!"

""Great for a female solo traveller I took myself off to Devon for a well needed solo break." The Loft was cosy and clean. I felt very safe there, the location is brilliant for other beauty spots like Salcombe and Totnes. Lukesland Gardens is worth a visit too. The loft itself has lovely skylights that you can see so many stars from on a clear night. Good facilities and the wifi didn't fail me either as I needed to work from my laptop during the time I stayed. You have to visit The Ring Feeder...
