Thanks for taking time to rate your stay on Friday Mr Robinson. We are sorry your stay was only 6/10. We don’t have any specific feedback from you on what your downgrading was due to. Please feel free to reach out to us directly.We can only think you may have been disappointed in the room as it was only a standard double at our lowest price.We do offer a wide range of rooms ranging from luxury to the budget room you booked. Hi Alexandra, the room was an upgrade to a superior studio. Yes one bed was set up on arrival as when housekeeping called the number on your booking to check bed set up you had input the incorrect number (you put too many 0’s on your booking.) On arrival housekeeping immediately set up the other double sofa bed)We use smart Yale locks for room doors and front door. These are locked from inside and are extremely secure. We also have CCTV and ring cameras to monitor and safeguard guests safety.Security codes that change daily are actually more secure and are more hygienic and we have had very good feedback from guests generally.We invest quite heavily in modern entry systems as well as using technology for things like lighting and heating, but we accept that ashbys isn’t for everyone.
