São Bento dream loft is in the heart of the city’s historic centre, in the 2nd floor of a recently refurbished historic house with no elevator. The Metro Station is located a few meters from the house and São Bento train station is close to the house. Nearby there is the traditional market that is open in working days till noon, where you can buy fish, fruit and vegetables, there are also some stores, modern and tradicional ones, to buy other goods and restaurants as well.The apartment is about 50m2 and is on the second floor without an elevator. It has a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed for two, bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Ideal for two to four people.
You can enjoy the view of São Bento station and the Sé church through the living room window.
The location is perfect for discovering the historic center on foot, however if you prefer to take the metro, S. Bento station is just across the street. You can walk towards the Douro River within 3 minutes, and crossing the D. Luiz bridge you can visit the Port Wine Cellars. There are several monuments and places to visit in the vicinity of this accommodation, such as Torre dos Clérigos, Camara do Porto, Lello bookshop and Rua de Santa Catarina, all less than 10 minutes away.
Close to the apartment, there is a huge variety of typical Portuguese bars and restaurants, from the most traditional to the contemporary.
You can also take the bus or the tram and go to the beaches of Foz and Matosinhos.
