Good to Know

- Very limited parking in the area
- No elevator in the building: stairs are required to access the apartment
- Older building with poor sound insulation – you may occasionally hear noise from neighbors (and their four-legged friends)
- Lively neighborhood with plenty of movement and traffic
- Very steep street, so be ready for a bit of a workout!

On the day of your arrival, a member of our team will be at the apartment to welcome you. To avoid any delays, please inform us your flight number and the estimated time of arrival at the apartment with at least 48 hours in advance. The information we’re requesting is very important for us to coordinate our team and to provide you the best welcoming experience. Without that information we cannot guarantee you a prompt check-in, so your cooperation is very important.

Rua de Santa Catarina, a 1,500-meter-long commercial artery, is Porto's main shopping center. This street is absurdly elegant and romantic, with tasteful boutiques, striped stone paths and lively crowds. It is home to the most ornate tea room in Porto, the Café Majestic, in art nouveau style, and the extraordinary Capela das Almas, decorated with tiles.

You will find most international stores, but if you want to venture into the small alleys on either side of the street, you will find many traditional stores. You can even try to resist the mouth-watering pâtisseries.

Next to Rua de Santa Catarina, you will find Mercado do Bolhão, a typical market absolutely unmissable! And, of course, the flower market (April to October) at Praça da Liberdade.

If you're arriving by plane from Aeroporto de Lisboa, there are some options to get to the apartment.

￫ Metro
The cheapest is the metro with a journey between 25 and 30 minutes. The nearest metro station (Marquês) is 500 meters walk from the apartment.

→ Car
If you have a rental car, please notice that there's no free parking in the area.
Taxi or Uber are also possibilities to get to the apartment, but for a faster and easier arrival, book our Airport Transfer Service (subject to an extra cost).

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.
￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.
￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
￫ Check-in time starts from 14:00 to 22:00 (additional cost of 25€ for check-ins after 22:00). Only one set of keys will be provided.
￫ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.
￫ Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table.
￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
￫ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.
￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly consumptions exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.
