Casa Maria is located within one of the traditional housing clusters known as “ilhas”, a unique and historic feature of Portuguese urban life. Set inside Villa Santa Bárbara — an exclusive property with only three houses (Casa António, Casa Maria, and Casa Adriana) — it offers a truly intimate and authentic experience.

This charming house preserves its original character, with traditional masonry walls and a décor inspired by Portuguese heritage. The atmosphere is warm, romantic, and full of personality — a true hidden gem in the middle of the city.

Outside, guests can enjoy a unique green space of over 700 m², designed for relaxation and comfort. The garden features benches, a swimming pool, sun loungers, fruit trees, an orchid greenhouse, and an aromatic herb garden. During the day, you can enjoy the peaceful sound of birds; at night, soft lighting creates a magical and inviting ambiance.

Casa Maria features a comfortable double bedroom, ideal for two guests, with high-quality mattresses and bed linens made in Portugal.

Each house is fully independent, ensuring maximum privacy, security, and tranquility. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen (except for oven and dishwasher), and a bathroom with complimentary toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, soap, and toilet paper) for the first days of the stay. Additional hygiene packs are available if needed. Fresh, high-quality white towels — also made in Portugal — are provided.

For your comfort, the house is equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, and free Wi-Fi, available both indoors and throughout the garden.
