"It seems in the past it might used to the be good, looking at the infra. We arrived and there was no one at the check in - it was closed. Thee was a nunber to be called, but no one answered. Finally, I found an on-site worker who knew someone ( not the person at the sign ) that could help me. A very nice old lady who did hsr best but could barely find the key. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY....

"This property is absolutely beautiful. The river runs just below the area and the sound of the water is so nice and calming. They have coffee for the mornings which i truly appreciated! 2 seperate buildings for bathrooms and a separate space with showers (partially outside, rock floors and open roof! Also access to the river with steps made of large rocks. Everyone was helpful and friendly. "

"The cottage is a very comfortable place to stay, and we were sorry when our 4 days there came to a close. Communication with the property owners is probably the best I have ever experienced. The location is quite stunning in terms of its natural setting. The drive to the market in town is not that bad.You'll see plenty of turkeys quail, and elk in the neighborhood, not to mention downey woodpeckers all over the place. And supposedly it can get more exotic than that, though we never personally...

"We stayed here as a family of four (two boys age 6 and 8) and had a wonderful time! The boys loved both the game room and playing by the river. The backyard space is serene and beautiful— and the views from in the home are incredible as well! The rooms/beds/bedding was really comfortable. The host is super responsive, communicative, and will provide answers before you even think of the question. We loved our stay! "

"Communication was great! The location was easy to find with enough parking right in front of the house. The AC units worked great and we were comfortable the entire time. Loved the two escape ladders as a precaution; we obviously didn’t need to use them but that peace of mind was great. I would easily book again without any reservations! "The house is beautiful and spacious, but the star of the show was the backyard. The outdoor kitchen, firepit, hot tub, koi pond and gorgeous plants and lights made it the perfect vacation oasis. "We needed a break from traffic and people. The cabin was amazing. We could see the stars, no light pollution, no noise pollution, just us and the outdoors. Every day we saw deer come up to the cabin and graze. We sat on the balcony and watched all ten of them graze right in front of us. The host was quick and responsive. The cabin is 15-20 minutes from kernville and 20-25 from lake Isabella township. It’s a great place and secluded while being close enough to venture into town on a whim. "

"This cabin stays very cozy and warm. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone! It unexpectedly snowed about 2 ft the night we arrived. We were completely snowed in and the owner generously arranged to have the snow plowed out of the driveway so we could get out. The roads are plowed often throughout the day. The owner stocks the place with firewood downstairs in the garage. And they provide what is available in the cabin, such as towels, shampoo conditioner, dish soap, paper towels, toilet...
