"We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food. "The apartment's in great shape, but the surrounding areas aren't, making people question the condo administration's maintenance. The host was super nice! "This place is a wonderful home base for a visit to Avellanas. It's about 15 min walking from Avellanas beach (world class waves), 15 min driving from Playa Negra and about 30 min driving from Tamarindo. The space is really great: well equiped kitchen, big clean and nice bathroom and in both bedroons the beds are very comfortable.
