"Situated overlooking Portage and 270deg views. Had a perfectly relaxing weekend with kayaking and walking and plenty of spa time. You don't have the house to yourself which we didn't realise when we booked it. However, you don't see the owners and your little self contained room is accessible without disturbing them."

"This was a lovely place to stay. The house was cozy warm thanks to the fireplace. The set up worked well for our group of 2 couples and 1 teen. Even a bit of rain did not affect our stay in anyway. Troy the owner was extremely helpful with tips during our stay. I highly recommend having an outdoor bath. It was really lovely."

"The house is very well equipped and is private. Awesome deck which looks out to bush and a reserve. The beds are very hard, which was the only down fall for us. If you like a hard bed then the house is perfect."

"Great place to stay for a long weekend getaway. House is very cool with lots of space to play and have quiet time if needed. Lovely big lawn to activities, kayaks and dinghy were great. Lots of toys books and dvds for rainy days. Pretty much all bases are covered! Such a special place highly recommend."

"A beautiful family beach holiday crib right by the seashore. Lawns for cricket in the evenings; mud flats to explore at low tide; a wee beach or two to wander along; log fire for chilly autumn mornings and those long holiday evenings sitting round playing board games and cards together. We couldn’t have dreamed of anything better than what we had the privilege of enjoying here thank you to the hosts who share their slice of paradise"

"Blue cod off jetty, shark and stingray cruising by. Amazing forest walks. Bathroom was not so clean and bbq so dirty it caught fire but we cleaned it and carried on. It was well worth it!!!"

"The place is remote and fabulous with a steep gravel driveway and set far above the road for noiseless nights of stargazing. "The view and location was amazing and the house was generally clean and comfortable with some dusty bits and some cobwebs. But the place is a bit tatty and run down. It definitely needs an update or a price change. The kitchen needs more equipment, wooden spoons, oven dishes and some decent knives. The upstairs bathroom door doesn't stay closed. "Older property but safe, secluded with a beautiful view of Portage Bay and mountains. Rooms have a patio, but no televisions or clocks. Shower floor was slippery. One dining room and separate lounge area with fireplace. Because of major storm damage a few years ago, we were not able to drive to property, instead we needed to take a water taxi from Picton."
